Shrek the Third isn’t an altogether bad game, but is certainly a sloppy one.- VGPub

Overall, Shrek the Third is another by-the-numbers movie licensed game. There’s nothing remarkably wrong with this game, but nothing that great about it either.- VGPub

With its short play time, and lacking mini games, it won’t take the average gamer more than a few days to get their fill of Shrek, Donkey, and Puss.- VGPub

A lot of them still have a nostalgic feel, and 2D games tend to age better than 3D visuals. Ditto with audio, though for more experienced gamers like me, these classic tunes bring back many fond arcade memories.- VGPub

It is a decent game in its own right and can be quite fun at times, but there is nowhere near enough content to justify its asking price.- VGPub

The control is flawed and attempts to handle the system's limitations in an imaginative, yet dysfunctional manner. There are many problems here from the button configuration and poor AI to auto-targeting.- VGPub

The gameplay is fun at times, but the manner with which you have to progress through single player to unlock cards is downright grueling and unrewarding.- VGPub

If you’re looking for a decent single player game to plow through in a weekend, Bullet Witch would make a terrific rental.- VGPub

Your average dungeon crawler. The graphics are nothing special, the audio isn’t amazing, and it’s a short game, but if you enjoy exploring dungeons and have $20 to spare, then I would defiantly consider getting this one.- VGPub

As one, I felt the game lacked the show’s trademark wit, and didn’t do a good job of capturing the characters.- VGPub

If you’re looking for a game that has many different game elements to it and a story you’ll need to take a few drops of acid to understand, this is your game.- VGPub

I really wanted to like The Shield. Unless you’re a Shield enthusiast like me, you’ll be safe passing on this one.- VGPub

During my time with Elebits, I couldn’t help but think in the back of my mind that this game is just a long tech demo and nothing more. And paying full price for what a tech demo is just insane.- VGPub

There is a fairly deep single player mode, and a lot more courses and personality to this game. However, Tecmo is just a few steps away from nailing the Wii-Remote controls, and a character-creator and a few more multiplayer modes could have benefited this game greatly.- VGPub

Stupid A.I, lack of maps, botched multiplayer interface, and a half assed story mar an experience that had the potential to be much more fulfilling.- VGPub

Many people won’t bother getting far enough into the game to appreciate the visuals, but if you give it a chance there’s a good game here. The camera problems unfortunately keep it from being great, but it’s a welcome diversion from the FPS and sports titles that have flooded the PS3 launch.- VGPub

While it isn’t very original, it can be very enjoyable in short bursts. Unfortunately, the camera problems prevent it from being ideal for long-term play, and make extended play sessions very frustrating due to how needlessly hard it is to see what you’re doing thanks to the poorly-placed camera.- VGPub

Truly a poor game. It introduces us to 1080p resolution and a cool gameplay mode in NBA Replay, but fails on almost every other level.- VGPub

Ultimately, History Channel: Civil War is a game that should be played by most war FPS fans just to experience something different. It may not be the most innovative or exhilarating war FPS, but it is a breath of fresh air from WWII FPS #205.- VGPub

Not as much as something akin to other innovative titles on the DS, but it’s worth a purchase if you just want to experience some familiar Frogger action for yourself or even the kids.- VGPub

There is a fairly eclectic gathering of music (at least as far as DDRs go) though the collection may not suit your tastes. For new players looking to get into DDR, you may as well start with the latest edition.- VGPub

Konami still has a ways to go before its Rengoku series can be called respectable, but Stairway to H.E.A.V.E.N. is miles ahead of its predecessor. The visuals look better, environments look great, and the customization in the game is addictive. Should the combat improve in the inevitable third iteration, this will be a franchise worth checking out.- VGPub

Looking at the game as a whole, the music and atmosphere are easily the best parts of Rule of Rose, while the controls are the weakest element by far.- VGPub
