A Fantastic port, that continues the line of incredible PlayStation games coming over to the PC. This is one of Nixxes' finest works, with an incredible set of features and graphical options, as well as being the prettiest version of the prettiest game on PS5.

While it is not loaded with the fine depth of Red Dead Redemption 2 or the amazing variety of missions of The Witcher 3, Team Ninja's first open-world take is still an excellent experience, mainly because of its spectacular combat system.

With the good outweighing the bad, Berserk Boy is another good game for an indie industry that isn't afraid to try put out fun and small games. It does need ironing out in some places but all in all, this is a great game.

Who would've thought that in 2024 we would actually get Skull & Bones, after 11 years in the oven and it still feels incomplete, unserious and it is pretty boring. Whoever is looking for a fun pirate experience, can already find it elsewhere.

Another year, another good WWE 2K game. After 2K20, we really shouldn't take that for granted, and it looks like the devs don't too - the gameplay is fun, the new additions are great and the MyRise and MyGM modes are better than ever. The WrestleMania showcase mode is the best we've had in a while, but next time - drop the objectives.

What an amazing experience this was. As a fan of Open World games, I got to experience one of the densest and most fun open worlds in the past few years. As a Final Fantasy VII fan, I got to see one of my childhood games being fully realized with new cinematic cutscenes, bosses and more.

I know that this game has some downsides, especially in its subpar beginning stages, but the latter ones are so polished, so fun to play, and work so well with the incredible platforming skills and controls of the game, that I just must go with my heart here and give it one of the highest praises I can give a game: It's just so much fun.

Go play one of the most addicting Roguelite games in the last couple of years, and don't you dare say that the gaming industry lacks creativity and fun ideas. Much like in the beginning of 2023, the indie scene is outdoing itself.

This remake maybe isn't the one we were hoping for, but it is a good and faithful one, sitting tightly in the "this is just how I remembered it was" category, all while adding some new features, game modes and worlds.

Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth is probably the clearest torch passing there was in the series, if I thought the last game did it already, now it is very clear that Ichiban will carry the torch forward for the golden boy of this series Kiryu.

Tekken 8 is an example of a game living up to it's own hype. With a fantastic roster of warriors, amazing single and multi-player modes, great online connectivity and incredible graphics and sound, Tekken 8 solidifies itself as one of the best in the business and an excellence of execution.

A great new version of a great game. The graphical aspect of this remaster takes a backseat to some excellent additions to the gameplay, and nice bonuses for fans of the original PS4 classic.

The Prince of Persia gets its first game in a very long time, and what a triumphant return that it. With great combat, fluid motion, great map design and other fantastic gameplay elements, this game elevates itself and stands out in the landscape of Metroidvania games. What an excellent beginning to 2024.

There is no simple way to say this, Laika: Aged Through Blood is an extremely flawed masterpiece, but a masterpiece nonetheless. An amazing, and at times unforgettable experience that fell short by bad controls and some poor level design.

With my last game review of 2023, I'm getting to review a solid 2D action game, with great foundations that is hindered by its rogue-lite mechanics (but not by much). Great work by Angry Mob Games.

Graphically, it's still a poor experience, with a very weird design and bad technical aspects. But the overall experience was nice - the upgraded difficulty was a welcome change, and I had a ton of fun watching my favorite Pokémon come back.

While the game isn't reaching the same heights as the Sarentu Na'vi we're playing, it's still, somehow, one of the best experiences I've had in 2023. This is, without a doubt, the best showcase for the Snowdrop Engine.

While the combat is a bit dated and a bit on the easy side - it's still fun and it complements how great the story, characters, and music are. Couple all those with one of the best-looking games on the platform and you get one hell of a remake.

This is a great first attempt by Kumi Souls Games, and as long as they continue working on the unpolished parts of the game, and keep the aesthetic approach and good VA, they'll do just fine.

The snowball that started rolling in Black Ops: Cold War has reached its biggest form, which is basically its lowest point yet. A game that's good on the surface but is laced with the constant feeling of disrespect to its fans and consumers. How the mighty have fallen.

Jusant has all the ingredients of the best indie games. It shows with how much love it was made in its touching story, impressive sound design and one of a kind gameplay. But Jusant so relying on its climbing that unfortunately you will not be able to enjoy it if you don't like the way the game treats it, and the boring first half hour doesn't do justice to the rest of the game. Beyond that its a smooth climbing to great heights which make the game a very cool experience.

Games like Alan Wake 2 deserve to be celebrated. This game is doing a lot right, with stunning visuals, great story, amazing sound design and smart gameplay and puzzle loop. It's so heartwarming to see one of my favorite games growing up getting the sequel it deserves.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is, without a shadow of a doubt, living up to its wonderous name. A game this good that manages to blend incredible platforming and level design with light humor and a ton of positivity (that even makes the multiplayer aspect positive), is truly remarkable and one of a kind.

While Sonic fans (me amongst them), would certainly love this game, it does have its drawbacks that make it a good, yet kind of forgettable game. Still better than Sonic 4 though - by a landslide.

Pokemon have had a lot of brilliant spin-off games over the years. Detective Pikachu Returns isn't one of them. It's a fine game, but it has little to go with in terms of gameplay or even story.

We can change the name, but the "FIFA" heart is still there, and in full force. Ultimate team got most of the love (obviously), but although it doesn't feel like a new game, it is still the best football game you can buy right now.

The new installment in the popular Assassin's Creed series achieves what it sets out to be: an "old-school" experience that veterans of the series will enjoy. I just wish there were more improvements to the basic (yet fun) formula, and that the story was a tad better.

Silent Hope, while being a good game, seems to be fighting with its own main gimmick of seven different heroes by making some contradicting design choices.
