ELEX gives us freedom, choices and replayability. It's a quite old-school RPG that falls short when it comes to graphics and AI. If you've played and enjoyed any of the previous Piranha Bytes games, make sure you give this one a try.

JYDGE is fun, offers a lot of replayability and adds a great coop mode. It's not unforgettable, but it's definitely enjoyable.

We've had a blast with The Fractured But Hole. A game aimed at adults, true to the serie and fun like no other. It's a game we can't believe it exists, but we're glad it does.

Tooth and Tail is one of the most original strategy games we've played in years, with great art and very clever ideas very well implemented.

If you like survival horror, you cannot miss The Evil Within 2. It finds the balance between the old and the new, the Western and the Japanese horror, and offers a great adventure with an excellent pacing and outstanding art direction.

NBA Live gets better every year. The One mode is pretty interesting, and if you’re looking for a more accessible approach to basketball, this can be your game.

Telltale has struggled to tell an interesting story with this episode. A very slow-paced chapter where only the new villains shine.

The core of the gameplay is pretty good, but it gets repetitive and the in-app purchases, although not mandatory, end up showing up.

Not many surprises here, but Layton's returns is still as entertaining as always. If you've enjoyed the series in the past, there's no reason why you shouldn't play this one.

Larian Studios takes the RPG genre to the next level again. A masterpiece in which the only limit is your imagination.

These games are always fun, and we've seen an attempt to introduce some news ideas, but they are never fully executed. If you've played many other games in the series you feel like it's time to have some new additions.

    Hob
Hob is a good experience, thanks to its very interesting world. It's easy to get lost, which can be frustrating, but overall it's a game that, without doing anything new, gets everything right.

Mario & Luigi are back with a very enjoyable RPG adventure, accessible for any type of player. Also, it adds Bowser's Minions, so those who played the GBA original can discover new content, too.

Shadows of War is a step forward in pretty much every aspect of the game, and it still is an adventure that knows how to keep you entertained. Yes, later in the game grinding will draw your attention towards lootboxes, but you don't really need to use real money to finish the game.

This is an excellent turn-based RPG, and even if it doesn't really bring anything new, it's has a lot of quality to compensate for. Without a doubt, an exciting surprise for RPG fans.

This "definitive edition" is the best way to play Yokai Watch 2, with minor additions, but interesting ones nonetheless.

FIFA 18 on Switch is very good, but not as good as it should be. Technical limitations aside, EA should have pushed this version further at least content wise. In any case, if you don't care that much about the new features introduced this year in the main versions or you just want portability over content, it's a great choice.

If you haven’t played it yet, this is the best way to play one of the best action RPGs of the last generation in consoles. If you have, you won’t find anything particularly new or exciting here, although it still is very enjoyable.

Considering this is a new IP with a small budget, the result is quite good. If you want an RPG without much emphasis on the combat and you like its theme, it can be a good option.

This is a great way to play the game thanks to the portability Switch delivers, but if you've played it before you won't really find any new features. If you haven't played it, it still is a good game and there's a lot of content to enjoy in this version.

Cuphead is a game that not only has an audiovisual section with overflowing personality and unique appeal, but also a title with practically flawless gameplay and with challenging final bosses of the first order that give us some of the most intense, crazy and fun battles that we have played in recent years...It took some time, but it's been worth the wait. Cuphead is amazing from start to finish, and unless you hate shoot 'em ups, you have to play it. It's definitely one of the best games of the year.

You might feel there aren't enough additions to justify that "II" in the title, but it is a very solid game anyway, and if you enjoyed the first one, we're sure you'll enjoy this sequel.
