This year, the Switch version of MotoGP improves quite a lot, although there still are some important shortcomings. Some of them aren’t Milestone’s fault, like the Joy-Cons not being the best for racing games, and some other are, like the complete lack of multiplayer, both off and online.

Alone in the Dark returns with a solid atmosphere and engaging story, but falls short in gameplay execution, particularly in puzzles and combat. Despite its commendable presentation and character design, the repetitive puzzles and unsatisfactory combat mechanics hinder the overall experience. It's a game with potential, but ultimately struggles to deliver on its promises, leaving fans hoping for future updates to address its shortcomings.

The similarities with Super Meat Boy are undeniable, but that aside, League of Evil is fun and challenging, and it's good choice if you don't mind its lack of originality.

Many design flaws, confusing at some points, an unbalanced difficulty… certainly, not the game that Sonic deserves. If you're a huge fan of the hedgehog you will enjoy it, but after Colors and Generations, we were expecting something better.

Although some shortcomings are obvious, 1971: Project Helios is a good option for those looking for a turn-based strategy game, thanks to its design and setting.

A game with mixed results. It uses Kinect like never before, it is well executed and it marks the way for other games to follow, as it is one of the few "traditional" games adapted for Kinect-only gameplay. But it also has it flaws, and sometimes it is difficult to go back, turn or pick up weapons, and this harms the enjoyment of the game.

A nice platformer that doesn’t do (or want to do) anything new. If you like the genre and if you’re looking for something accessible, this can be a good option.

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is a pity, because although it has very interesting aspects, the final result is not as good as it should have been.

Saints Row 2 is a great action and racing game... at least on consoles. Performing and control issues diminish greatly the quality of this PC port.

Federation Force can be fun, and it is actually fun played with friends. The problem is that it's short and forgettable, and if you're planning on playing alone, it doesn't have much to offer.

As usual, this is the best choice if you haven't played the game yet. It still has some flaws, but the amount of content SAO delivers is incredibly large that if you like the concept it will be definitely worth your money.

Syndrome is not outstanding in any aspect, but it works. Still, it borrows from many well-known horror games, which makes it quite predictable.

Fragile caught our attention from the beginning because we noticed something that made it special. Unfortunately, although it is still quite special, it has important problems with make it less from what could have been.

Verdun has really good ideas, and it tries to achieve a realism most shooters discard these days, but a very poor technical side and some control issues prevent it from achieving something bigger.

Goodseekers is a game for a very specific type of players, but if you're looking for a tactical RPG (or even Dynasty Tactics 3), this title deserves an opportunity.

Truberbrook has great ideas when it comes to art design, the story and the gameplay, but only the first one is well developed. It has potential to be a great franchise, but this particular title ended up being a little bit disappointing.

AO Tennis 2 takes a step in the right direction, but it still lacks depth in some of the core foundations of a tennis game. It improves and expands pretty much everything from its predecessor, so we’re looking forward to see where the next title takes it.

Biomorph offers a visually appealing aesthetic with strong character design, but its narrative falls flat and its soundtrack lacks originality. Despite solid gameplay mechanics, including an interesting enemy transformation feature, the game struggles with repetitive level design and contradictory gameplay elements. Biomorph may appeal to hardcore fans of the metroidvania genre, but it fails to fully capitalize on its potential.

As weird as it gets, Telltale returns to the card-based games to bring this unexpected sequel. It offers loads of fun and loads of unlockables, but not having multiplayer modes –and not being localized if you don't speak English– does limit the experience.

We have liked Inversion much more than we expected, as it is an enjoyable product with some good moments and ideas and spectacular modest, despite being quite a modest production. It could have been much better, of course, and it has room of improvement in almost every area, but it entertains and the idea of gravity manipulation is good, although it could have been made the most if only the developers had been more ambitious.

Outward: Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch maintains the depth of the original RPG with survival mechanics, offering freedom to explore and engage in various quests. However, visual sacrifices are noticeable, affecting textures and overall graphical fidelity, making it a less immersive experience compared to other platforms. Despite its flaws, it remains a compelling option for RPG enthusiasts on the Switch.
