Amplitude is a gift for the nostalgic, with a limited budget resulting in a limited tracklist. If you're ok with this, then Amplitude still is as good as it was.

It's one of those games you might want to play over a weekend, since it's fun, but some issues with its control and not being particularly original throughout the experiences make it a quite short-lived experience.

Starpoint Gemini 2 works really well on Xbox One, and proves it's a fun game, well-balanced and engaging. Still, its story isn't particularly appealing and its gameplay doesn't reach its full potential, leaving room for some improvements.

Telltale is finding the right way to make Minecraft: Story Mode a game for everyone, and not just for kids. It's a little bit late, but if you've liked it so far, you're going to enjoy this fourth episode.

Get Together adds an interesting dimension to the Sims' social life, but the execution is not the best to make the most of it. Still, it's a good choice for those who want to explore another side of the Sims.

Minecraft arrives on Wii U with all its core experience, still as fun and addictive as always. Still, it doesn't really use any of the hardware's exclusive features, missing even the obvious opportunity to add some amiibo compatibility.

It's not perfect, but it is a great game. Taking into account that there are not too many 2D shoot 'em ups at the moment, Steel Empire feels like a great option for fans of the genre.

This episode is different from the previous one, and it doesn't really feel like a step forward. Still, if you enjoyed Chapter I, we're sure you'll enjoy this one too.

Turok hasn't aged particularly well, but it still fun to play because of all the memories it brigs. Still, you might want to keep the fog on, because AI and the gunplay weren't designed to play without it.

Story of Seasons is one of the best Harvest Moon games we've played. It's one of those game you can spend months playing, and one you don't want to miss if you like what it has to offer.

Even though it arrives a few years late, at least we have the opportunity to try this version of the game, which clearly is the "good one". Everything makes sense on Wii, and even though it feels a little bit outdated, it still is interesting and fun for those who know the game they're buying.

The Delusion of Von Sottendorff and his Square Mind is a great surprise, a very clever game that works for everyone, from casual players to old puzzle fans. A great addition to the 3DS catalogue.

It is likely to go unnoticed, but it's a very interesting collection, with addictive gameplay, outstanding soundtrack and great design. The Bit.Trip might not look appealing but it is surprisingly rewarding.

Darius Burst: Chronicle Saviours is long, spectacular and incredibly fun. Yes, it's expensive, but fans of the genre will find a great experience worth the money.

It might have lot a little bit of the spark it had when it was originally released, but it still is a great game, fun, challenging and addictive. Ideal for those who feel like playing a game that might have been made in the 8-16 bit era.

Guns Up! is a nice way of getting started into RTS games, particularly because it's free-to-play and accessible. The problem is that it's not deep enough to make you stick to it for much longer, or might not be appealing for long-time fans of the genre.

Codemasters is back with the game we've been waiting for years. DiRT Rally is a very, very challenging simulator that forces you to improve with every race, but above all, it's fun and brings back some of the feelings Colin McRae games gave us.

Yakuza 5 is what it is expected to be. It hasn't changed its formula, and it still works for its fans. You'll love it or you'll hate it, but if you happen to love it, you'll find one of the best games PS3 has received this year.

Nuclear Throne is one of the best games we've played in the last few months, thanks to a formula that gets pretty close to perfection. It's one of those games you could always play "just one more time".

SteamWorld Heist is a great turn-based strategy game: long and replayable. Taking into account it's not the most popular genre on consoles, we're sure many players we'll be happy with this title.

Rainbow Six Siege is a great game to break from the lone-wolf kind of shooter. This means relying on random players or on having a team ready, but if you're ok with that, it is a great experience.
