So what did I enjoy about Warhammer Quest? I think the game was a visual treat. I think that the combat, while opaque, has the potential to be enjoyable simply by keeping the player more informed and involved with the process. I think that the atmosphere is engaging, and that quests have great premises and writing.

There isn’t much of a game to be had with Epic Mech Wars. The characters and art style don’t reflect a deeper story, and there is little reason to continue other than to watch progress bars progress. I am usually a sucker for mech customization games, but Epic Mech Wars shows that some giant mech suits are only skin deep.

As basic and cheesy as 'Bounder's World' is, you might end up really liking it. Ignore the score and just drink in the music. It'll make you want to rip your eardrums out and hurl them at a passer by, but it'll make you feel young, happy and hopeful again. How many games can lay claim to that?

I can't endorse Alphadia 2 to players, even JRPG enthusiasts. It feels like a 'straight to VHS' Super Nintendo game that trades openly on the objectification of one of the main characters. Let's face it, even calling Monster Life a game is a stretch, so much so that I am uncomfortable scoring it as one. As a gamer, I can only imagine how frustrating it must have been to work on Monster Life.
