It's not the most complicated game, but Trial By Survival makes up for it with feeling, making it well worth checking out in my book.

For optimal enjoyment of Ultima Forever, it’s best to play on an iPhone 5. Party members may still lag out and disappear, but you’ll have less frame issues. For the freemium price, I’m all on board for this Ultima MMO. When I’m in a solid party, I can’t put this game down. There’s too much to do and tons of reasons to go back into old dungeons and farm for better loot. Hopefully, with subsequent patches the frame issues will slowly disappear.

1 Coin Studio wanted to make a game that captured the essence of the 16-bit shooter and rewarded the player for skill, rather than offering up content in the form of IAP. In a world of ever increasing pay walls, to me this is a welcome business model and I hope it pays off for this team, as I really want to see what other digital miracles they have up their sleeves.

If you're in the market for a new platformer that puts a lot of effort towards replicating an old-school gameplay feel (in all regards) with new-school gameplay ideas, Brick Roll is an excellent game worth checking out.

The bottom line? An Alien with a Magnet is simply a fun game. There isn't much to detract from Rejected’s offering, aside from the repetition and the voice, the latter of which is entirely based upon you, whether you like him or not.

Knife That Guy is a simple arcade game with just one really good core mechanic, fleshed out through its assortment of different characters and items.

It fires on all cylinders, and if you're a fan of the previous games you don't even need this review to determine if you should get it or not–you probably have already bought it.

Don’t expect to be playing this one months down the line, but if you’re looking for somewhere to spend a couple of minutes—or even a couple of hours—Flyro is a suitable enough place to spend them. Just don’t count on this to be your next Jetpack Joyride.

Swords & Arrows, like the game it pays homage to, is an easy-to-pick up, fun way to wage war with your friends, and it's quite welcome in my software library anytime.

Don't go in expecting much more than a non-threatening time waster, and you might have a good enough time with the pigs. Failing that, a bacon sandwich will probably set your sense of justice right once more.

To be good at Kid Tripp, it's simply a matter of having a strong memory, quick reflexes and a dump-truck load of determination. If you're up to the challenge, Kid Tripp is a sometimes brutally hard, yet incredibly rewarding little platform runner.

Sky Tourist boasts clever controls and a beautiful world. Travelling through that world means dealing with occasional frustrations, but they're small bumps in an expansive road. Every good journey has its problems, after all—without them, how would we grow?

Riptide GP was a great game for its time, but I feel that the improvements and additions made by Vector Unit have turned Riptide GP2 into a full-fledged excellent racing game.

I can’t praise Bounty Arms for much more than visuals because it’s apparent these graphics where what was most important to this game. Unfortunately, that leaves me only recommending it to those of you who love showing off how good a game can look on your iPhone. If you’re that kind of person: enjoy the show. To everyone else: avoid this game. It rests with mediocrity on nearly all fronts, barely granting it a recommendation.

Nevertheless, Rymdkapsel feels tailor-made for iOS in both form and function, and its elegant, subtle constituent parts nest within one another as neatly as its four-block tetrominos snap together along a space station corridor.

Chillaxian is still an arcade game and a clear homage to Galaxian. Despite the increased variety and addition of “save points” it cannot escape its highly simplistic yet entirely classic roots.

The action has a great, chaotic feel to it, the stages are fast-paced, and between the missions, the hefty assortment of weapons, and the level-up perks, you're always just a step away from getting some cool new reward.

I really love War of the Zombie. I just wish it didn’t have so many flaws and broken features. The game is clearly a victim of its own lofty ambition to create as comprehensive a squad based tactical RTS game as possible on the iOS platform for under $3. It is extremely playable but it has a tendency to fail you in rather inopportune ways.

Monsters Invade: Oz is a joy to play. However, play is too restricted by the current IAP system. Waste your gold on adding monsters to your party too early, instead of upgrading attributes, and you will find it difficult to survive in battle.

There are oddities, such as some cut-scenes being fully acted-out by quality artists and others relying on simple text, online connectivity requirements, and for the non-RPG player, it's definitely recommended to step through the guide every now and then to ease confusion

I went into this expecting, at best, a mid-level Kemco RPG, so it's kind of funny that this has turned out to be a better game all-around than most of the JRPGs available on iOS.
