SkyDrift fell out of nowhere to surprise us with solid gameplay and a nice sense of speed. Sure, it could have used a bit more combat, but it is a racing game at heart, and a decent WipEout knock-off. Definitely worth a look.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. For those of us who aren't into portables it's always deflating to miss out on a part of a series. Thankfully we can now enjoy both of these games at their absolute best.

It's no Game of the Year, but it's a solid product for fans.

There is a lot to do in R3 and most of it is enjoyable. Sure, there are parts that could have used some work, but you'll probably have too much fun to take notice of them most of the time.

The game delivers what you might expect from two iconic developers. Unique story, plenty of grindhouse-style visuals and slightly lackluster gameplay. Fans of these auteurs will be pleased. Parents of impressionable youths will not.

Overall, it's a very solid game. The Dynasty Warriors formula has carved out a niche, so they could have done much worse. I wish there were more things to do, but if you're a completionist you'll easily get your money's worth.

In general, a fun game with interesting puzzles, but with its load times and other competition in the market, it might not be worth the $9.99.

It's a mixture of bad decisions and rush jobs. The only way it could be worse is if the disc punched you in the face every time you opened the case. At least it's not completely broken, I guess.

Even though there are major improvements the game still needs work. When one of those (the new camera angles) reveals glaring problems (crowds, cars, cheerladers) it seems counterproductive. Still, it's Madden and it's a whole lot of fun.

A few nits aside, this is a fantastic mix of old-school Deus Ex, old-school Metal Gear Solid, and a dash of Uncharted for good measure. A truly immersive experience that rewards creativity and variety in your approach to playing.

A great installment that any college football fan will enjoy (and has probably put hundreds of hours into already). With a good group of friends for an online dynasty this game won't leave your PS3's disc tray anytime soon.

To be punny about it, the game is mindless fun, but how inconsistent the world's rules are will disappoint and frustrate most people. A lack of online multiplayer severly limits this the replay value. It has potential but it doesn't solidify any ideas.

Tomb Raider took a turn for the worse in the last decade, but unbeknownst to me, it rebounded back for a trilogy of good games. This collection gets them all together at a great price that will whet your appetite for the next game.

Codemasters would be best served choosing to make their games either realistic or fun, and stop trying to find a balance between the two. Right now we are left with a game that alternates between frustrating and boring, but one that is never enjoyable.

If someone ever tells you videogames aren't art, strap them to a chair and make them play Limbo. Yes, it's that perfect.

I said it in the review and I'll say it again: this is the best Dynasty Warriors game out there. It offers a great level of challenge and it has so much content that it can last you over 150 hours easily, and that's without friendship grinding.

It's a love it or hate it game. If it doesn't click with you right away it probably won't at all. I just wish they had made some better decisions with the way that the co-op is handled.

Unfinished, unpolished, and broken. If not for the online co-op this would be a complete dud. They put in a lot of features that are great in theory but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Have I mentioned that I can't stand the main characters?

The game was rushed, plain and simple. No one expected High Moon Studios to pull off a miracle in a year but I did expect a bit more polish. If you want a great Transformers game, check out War for Cybertron, it's also a fraction of the price.

Hopefully this is Duke's swan song. No matter what happens next it will never top Forever in terms of hype and discussion. It doesn't deserve the venom it got from reviewers and message boards, but it probably doesn't deserve your cash, either.

Madness Returns is by no means a terrible game, as in fact quite the opposite is the case. But its enormous potential combined with its stubborn unwillingness to take much, if any creative risks, keep this one from achieving its fullest potential.

As a historical piece, it is practically unparalleled. As a modern game, it is rife with issues that would never be tolerated. In the end, it is a great addition for fans and collectors, but of very little value to new gamers.

An absolutely addictive and surprisingly deep and varied video pinball offering Marvel Pinball does the license right and establishes ZEN Studios as one of the most talented purveyors of downloadable content out there.

Could be more polished, and a tough sell at four hours with no replay, but certainly a uniquely crafted experience.

Nostalgia can be a powerful emotion, but as SEGA Rally Online Arcade proves, solely building a game around our human desire to treasure past memories doesn't necessarily make it great.

Bottom line: If I can only have one SRPG for the rest of my life, it isn't even a contest. I could play Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for the next 10 years and still be finding new stuff to try. One of the best remakes of all time.

Escalation's maps are great additions to the main game, however the $15 price tag is still at least $5 too high.

A puzzle game that doesn't do puzzles all that great, but does feature a nifty offbeat plot and a world populated with eccentric characters. The art style is eye-catching, but the UI doesn't fit well with the PS3.
