The single player mode is truly amazing and very gripping. The multiplayer side of the game sets a new standard in first person shooters.

It's still an arcade shooter that lacks the depth of the X-Wing/TIE Fighter series. However it's the rare case when the slick presentation just improves everything beyond belief.

A well-polished adventure title that will tax most gamers, whilst it’s luscious visuals, slick presentation and good humour will appeal to most, however it’s slow pace isn’t for everyone.

I couldn't possibly say enough in this review to give you an idea of how unbelievable this game is, you will have to experience it for yourself...and try and do it with a 5.1 stereo system...One of the best videogames ever created.

All previous surfing games have sucked. But where they’ve sunk, Transworld Surf rises up to float across the perfect wave.

The range of driving skills required, the excellent combo Kudos system, the satisfying handling and range of unlockable extras ensure this is a game you'll keep playing.

Behind all of the surface gloss is a very shallow game that will disappoint fighting fans, there isn't a lot to go back to once you've completed it and the end feeling is slightly cheap.

I prefer a bit of depth and an element of skill to my racing titles, so it’s not for me.

The sense of immersion through intelligent AI, captivating missions, wonderful visuals, atmospheric sounds and the balance of action/strategy has opened my eyes.

It’s just a shame that the game is too easy, a little more time perfecting the enemy AI and level design would have seen this scored much highly, but in the end this is a good game for action fans and those wanting their next Bond fix.

A perfect balance between authenticity and accessibility. It probably won’t appeal to the hard-core sim fans, whilst those that like their action immediately up front will probably also be deterred.

The little inaccuracies can be forgotten by all but the most die-hard of Star Wars fans, whilst there are enough cosmetic touches to differentiate this from "AoE2" and allow you to submerse yourself in the Star Wars universe.

If you’re one of the lucky few who haven’t [played the PC original], do yourself a favour and pick up one of the best games ever created.

Hard-core RPG fans may feel the game is too derivative, to a certain extent it is, but for the rest of us Golden Sun is both a fantastic game and a nice trip down memory lane.

It’s a fantastic system that allows you to become more involved with your troops and resources on an individual level, ensuring a higher level of attention is paid on developing tactics and strategies based on the different warriors you’ve got.

You’ll know by now not to expect any radical changes, but a better game through slow refinement and evolution, and for this reason only purists will want this title if they own the original.

The stunt system found in SSX Tricky is arguably the best found in any sports title thanks to a wonderfully intuitive control system.

The graphics are fresh and the water effects are fantastic. You’ll find it hard to get bored of this title.

All of the changes that they’ve made have come through, and whilst it may not play as realistically as Pro Evolution Soccer, the overall feel is more akin to the proper game then previous versions.

We could [have] really enjoyed this game however after a while it just gets too repetitive and frustrating to play for more than 30 minutes.

Pure exhilaration; it’s an adrenaline-fuelled romp that will satisfy even the most extreme racers out there.

The game looks and feels out-dated.

Soul Reaver 2 has some excellent moments, carried through with superb narrative, an excellent story and some stunning visuals, however it’s just not enough for me anymore…

Offers a more depth and is generally more fun then every other Motocross title before it.

The game does offer much more than the previous game did however there is nothing especially new, which we would expect.

It’s simple if you loved the first two titles you need this one, newcomers may be put off as the game is beginning to get more complex.

All in all Doom is a fantastic port to the GBA, some things are missing, some things are toned down, but that same raw gameplay that changed the way we thought eight years ago has come across wonderfully.
