The moan continues with uninspired and bland graphics, awful sound effects and ear-wrenching music.- Total Video Games

The real problem is that it has been done so many times before that at some stages in the game you get that déjà vu feeling you played the same location, executed the exact move and experienced the same sequence of events but this time it’s a Kangaroo you are sharing it with and not another endearing character.- Total Video Games

Those looking for a no-nonsense beat-em-up could find some enjoyment with the fluid combat system and frantic nature of the game, however Urban Reign makes very little attempt to bring the genre back to life - everybody else should check out Rockstar Games superior adaptation of The Warriors.- Total Video Games

The PSP version of Dead Man's Chest is quite literally a game of two halves, with fairly satisfying (if frustrating) single-player experience, and quite frankly abysmal multiplayer experience. The combat system is quite an interesting idea that staves off repetition for a little while, but ultimately it's a game that doesn't offer any real chance for replayability.- Total Video Games

The dialogue provided brief amusement, however the frustration created by some of the puzzles far exceeded this, and I’ve even got the walk-through.- Total Video Games

The ultimate issue in front of Dark Void is the fact that it doesn't know whether it's a third-person shooter or an arcade flight game, and does a pretty mediocre attempt at both. An uninspired approach to the design of the game's stages and challenges ultimately leaves Dark Void dangling in the chasm of mediocre shooters.- Total Video Games

On the one hand the Arwing missons are pure StarFox with plenty of frantic button bashing. Sadly, the ground based sections are dull and really makes the game a disappointing one to play.- Total Video Games

Essentially a sub-Katamari game on Nintendo DS, Ignition's title offers a decent (if short) campaign for players, though the Bonus Mode is more compelling.- Total Video Games

Nothing but a serious disappointment... It just about manages to cover all the criteria but nothing feels as though Croteam have stretched the barrel – in many cases they feel surprisingly weaker then its predecessor.- Total Video Games

This game has more than enough to entertain fans of RPG and action games and is sure to convert any gamers who normally don’t play this kind of game. It is just a pity that the RTS side of the game took so long to actually start working.- Total Video Games

Regrettably Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland feels too much like a “by numbers” sequel; a tag that in some eyes has been hanging around the series for a while now, but most certainly manifests itself in THAW.- Total Video Games

Oh EA what have you done; we we’re getting to enjoy FIFA once again and now this. We’re never ones to severely criticise an average game, however FIFA 06 beggars belief.- Total Video Games

Whilst not the worst film tie-in, Fantastic 4 still feels heavily watered down and certainly comes across as a weaker version of "X-Men Legends."- Total Video Games

ParaWorld sets itself a high bar by taking on such a story driven campaign. It fails to deliver on this part and, unfortunately, all that remains is an RTS game that simply can't stand up to today's heavyweights of the genre.- Total Video Games

With the small roster and lack of modes, this one is probably best as a rental and not a purchase, but it is a good way to waste away a weekend.- Total Video Games

While the original Force Unleashed managed to surprise us with something that was more stimulating then the tech demo we feared and nicely introduced a new plotline, the sequel fails at virtually everything it attempts. The plot feels like a cheap way to extend the series and never delivers any twists, while the game itself is mediocre at the very best of times. A hugely disappointing experience that even the most ardent Star Wars fan will have a tough time enjoying.- Total Video Games

Although it's easy to see Transformers: The Game attracting a younger audience better suited to overlook the game's issues, for everybody else, the appeal of large robots repeatedly stomping around uninspired environments limits it to little more than a poorly realised merchandising option.- Total Video Games

As a long-term Sonic fan Shadow the Hedgehog fills me with absolute dread and disdain; it’s an abysmal game that manages to expand upon the issues of previous Sonic games, whilst completing negating the core ingredients of the Sonic series.- Total Video Games

Whilst we found ourselves forgiving Lara for moving like a 7-ton dumper truck and Core for basically realising that their new ideas weren’t quite cutting it, we can’t say the same for the bugs that rear their ugly heads all too often - we’ve simply lost count of the number of times we’ve had to reset our Playstation2 because Lara has got stuck in a wall yet again.- Total Video Games

We had high hopes for FUEL, which promised to offer an expansive game world teaming with insane weather and even crazier racing. Ultimately, however, Asobo Studio has served up a barren wasteland filled with nothing to do, bland race events, and weather effects that are far less dynamic than Codemasters might have you believe.- Total Video Games

It's exciting to see the Lego games attempt to innovate, and some of the battles can be truly epic, but all sense of awe and fun is destroyed by persistent issues across the board, leaving players confused and frustrated. The trademark Lego charm is still just about present but is quickly wearing thin.- Total Video Games

Lair is the quintessential example of why motion control should only be used sparingly on PlayStation 3 titles; unwieldy, unresponsive, and bland in terms of gameplay, the only thing compelling in the game is the soundtracks.- Total Video Games

An unbelievably lazy title that just feels cheap. It has poor gameplay that the target audience will just fall asleep at, which only adds to the infuriating realisation that it will still sell thanks to the lightning scarred teen's name.- Total Video Games

If you’re a fan of the movie you’ll be bitterly disappointed at the butchering the license has received, whilst even action fans will be put off after they’ve punched, kicked and thrown their way through the first 10 missions; avoid!!!- Total Video Games
