EA Sports UFC 6 stands as the most complete and refined installment in EA's UFC franchise to date. Its outstanding Hall of Legends mode, the intensity introduced by the new Flow State mechanic, and a more authentic presentation significantly enhance the experience both inside and outside the Octagon. While Legacy Mode falls short due to its weak narrative, and issues such as recycled animations, career mode grinding, and an uneven roster still persist, the overall package remains highly impressive. It may not be an all time classic, but it is undoubtedly a serious title contender among MMA games.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Switch 2 successfully preserves the essence of one of the best recent RPGs, delivering fluid combat, excellent design, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. However, the port comes with noticeable visual compromises and a technical presentation that falls short of other platforms. Even so, Square Enix prioritized what matters most. The gameplay remains solid, making this a noteworthy version despite its limitations.

eFootball Kick Off prioritizes accessibility and solid gameplay over licenses, realism, and visual presentation. While its graphics remain modest and it lacks real world players, editing features, and licensed content, the game compensates with enjoyable matches, strong pacing, and a straightforward design philosophy that recalls the simpler and more approachable football titles of earlier generations. The result is an experience that values fun and playability above authenticity, making it an appealing option for players seeking uncomplicated football action.

Mina the Hollower is a highly engaging game that features exploration without hand holding, rewarding players at nearly every turn. It also offers a surprisingly deep and challenging combat system that belies its appearance. Venturing through the many regions of Tenebrous Isle is a delight that invites players to spend countless hours alongside this courageous mouse, although certain aspects may occasionally lead to frustration. Even so, it remains a highly recommended and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition offers a strong way to experience War's adventure for the first time or to revisit it. Its visual enhancements make the game look impressive, while faster combat responsiveness and significantly reduced loading times improve the overall experience. However, several graphical issues prevent it from becoming the definitive version of this classic, despite being the most recent release.

Beastro crafts a fantasy world where feeding, waiting, and caring matter just as much as fighting. Its blend of simulation, cooking, and card-based mechanics supports a narrative that highlights the importance of often-overlooked forms of labor, resulting in an experience that is both engaging and thematically resonant.

Star Fox returns with a solid and nostalgic reimagining of its Nintendo 64 classic. Although Nintendo chooses a safe approach rather than delivering a completely new installment, the result succeeds thanks to its revamped controls, multiplayer modes, strong replay value, and polished presentation. It does not reinvent the franchise, but it clearly demonstrates that Fox McCloud still has plenty of untapped potential.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales delivers a charming adventure that combines a solid narrative, rewarding exploration, and a fast-paced, versatile combat system. Its HD-2D world stands out thanks to its exceptional artistic direction, while Elliot and Faie’s journey maintains player engagement through strong pacing, varied environments, and a classic approach to action and discovery. Although it draws clear inspiration from other franchises within the genre, it succeeds in establishing its own identity through charm, personality, and many hours of entertainment.

007 First Light successfully captures everything we enjoy about James Bond, exploring both his espionage side and his thrilling shootouts. It presents a solid approach to blending both aspects of the MI6 agent, although it falls short in areas such as combat. Even so, it marks a strong return for the iconic spy to video games and could serve as the foundation for a truly definitive experience.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a charming platformer that proves more challenging than it initially appears. Its strong level design, constant exploration, and creatures with unique abilities make every stage feel creative and rewarding. Although it does not fully take advantage of the Nintendo Switch 2’s hardware and may feel somewhat short, its charm, cheerful soundtrack, and focus on discovery turn it into a highly enjoyable adventure.

Forza Horizon 6 refines a well-established formula with remarkable confidence. Its Japan-inspired map, driving freedom, and accessibility make it highly enjoyable, even if it takes few risks compared to previous entries. Even so, its execution remains so polished and entertaining that it continues to stand as one of the genre’s benchmarks and among the very best titles of 2026.

World Heroes Perfect on PC is a direct trip back to the arcade. Charismatic characters, eye catching animations, and a fully intact '90s vibe. The issue is that, without nostalgia, its pacing and gameplay feel rigid and slow compared to modern standards. The extras help and are appreciated, but as a standalone product it feels more like a collector's piece than an essential title. Recommended if you grew up with Neo Geo. Skippable if you're looking for a modern fighter.

Saros builds on the foundation of Returnal and pushes it into a more flexible and ambitious space. Invincible VS fully understands its license. Fast paced combat, stylized violence, and a visual presentation that feels more consistent than the series itself. Its greatest strength lies in its accessibility, but that same simplicity encourages button mashing and chaotic matches. The story mode fulfills its role without becoming essential, and the level based progression feels more like a filler. Even so, when two players truly master its systems, the game reveals a compelling technical ceiling and a very enjoyable rhythm.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream delivers a relaxed, progressive life simulation experience that prioritizes creativity and consistency over traditional challenge. Managing an island populated by Miis feels accessible at first, but it gains complexity as customization options, relationships, and resources expand. Although it does not stand out visually or demand intensive sessions, it offers a cozy pace tailored for fans of the genre. It is a charming title that rewards imagination and daily dedication, but it may not resonate with players seeking immediate action.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire delivers a highly entertaining first person shooter that evokes the past in more ways than one. Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage on Switch 2 delivers a solid remaster that remains highly faithful to the series' classic essence, featuring a deep, demanding, and well-polished combat system. FATAL FRAME II returns in a remake that preserves the atmospheric horror and unique identity of the original. With a slower, more intimate approach focused on exploration and lore, the game excels through its art direction and ambience, although it still carries clunky controls and inherited design limitations. Rather than competing with Silent Hill or Resident Evil, this new edition reaffirms that Fatal Frame remains a distinct, niche horror experience with a very strong identity.

Aether and Iron presents a dark-toned experience with metallic resonances, offering a lucid management system embodied by a lively and resolute protagonist. Set in the heart of a decopunk New York, layers of violence unfold, requiring the player to navigate them to complete each mission. Its mechanics, seemingly simple at first glance, flow with an almost contemplative rhythm, yet remain sufficiently immersive to sustain both the narrative dimension and encounters of notable solidity.

Crimson Desert is an ambitious action RPG that impresses on a technical level and through its open world design, yet it repeatedly stumbles in execution. Its early hours feel promising, and its boss encounters stand out as memorable, but excessive grinding, a narrative that loses momentum, and unclear design decisions gradually wear down the experience. Pearl Abyss demonstrates both talent and resources. However, the game attempts to cover too much without fully refining its core systems, ultimately falling short of its true potential.
