A lazy port of a fairly good game with no effort put into making it work better on a console. Slapping a party system onto it doesn't magically make it something special, and there are so many other things I can think of that could have been done that weren't, such as bringing over the best community maps, the previously mentioned dedicated server option, and making the controls more console-centric.

As a first episode, Rain Slick succeeds in leaving you wanting more, and anxious to drag your party and stats on into Episode 2. Sure at its core, it’s an extremely light weight JRPG, but if you’re playing this game for ingenious game design then you’re missing the point.

More than anything, Haze feels like an appalling waste; a waste of a talented development team on a premise which never sounded impressive or interesting, and a waste of time and money which could have been put to much better use elsewhere.

All in all SingStar is a great game, instantly accessible with nothing to unlock, but plenty of downloadable content available online.

When it plays a game of football so streamlined, so natural - so real, it’s hard to not feel justified in handing over more hard earned money to a company who seem to be learning from past mistakes.

The gameplay’s been tightened up, graphically it looks great, the Captain Your Country mode is great fun and most club and international teams are omitted.

When you look past the flashy presentation, you’ll realize that this game is simply a decent, fun, and challenging vertical shooter. Nothing more, nothing less.

When you play a game and find the most immersive sections are cut-scenes and the game isn’t called Metal Gear Solid, then you know something isn’t quite right.

Stuff like Metal Slug, Top Hunter, and Sengoku are definitely worth playing, regardless of the other games’ mediocrity.

It may seem as though this collection is full of simplistic, no-hoper games, but underneath the shocking presentation you can find a fair few games that you could happily spend hours on.

Nintendo succeeded in their mission, which was to bring a word puzzle game to the DS that everyone can enjoy. I can definitely see this game as a useful mechanism for individuals who wish to improve their vocabulary or word understanding. However, that improvement can go so far.

Grand Theft Auto IV is a game for the ages, one that will without doubt be included in gaming halls of fame and remembered fondly by everyone who was there to play it when it was released.

GTA IV may not have the best graphics, gunplay, A.I. or driving, but few other games have ever combined so many elements so successfully. It excels in creating a genuinely cinematic atmosphere, with writing on par with anything Hollywood can produce and action sequences that would sit comfortably in any movie.

Nintendo's draconian online service isn't a reason to dislike Mario Kart Wii in the same way that it's wrong to dislike a really beautiful woman because her husband is a complete tosser...As a Wii owner, we've got the definitive racing game on the console.

This is one for the hardcore basketball fans only, as they are likely to enjoy the short-burst addictive action it has to offer. With that said, don’t expect to find any challenge here.

With average graphics, adequate story, standard music and decent battles you truly end up with an average, run-of-the-mill game. Is it worth its selling price? That comes down to how bored you are.

As a benchmark the game shows a lot of promise for the full release which will have significantly more of everything, and hopefully irons out the creases, but as a game it's just disappointing.

Investing time and money into Baroque comes down to your tolerance for the genre - those experienced with ‘roguelike’ dungeon crawlers should find a lot of hidden depth here mixed in with an engaging story. For everyone else, Baroque is a more often than not, distant, vague and unfairly difficult experience you could probably do without.
