Alone in the Dark is a game that had such great potential, but never followed through with making a solid product. Ultimately, the downfall of Alone in the Dark is that it is a chore to play.- The Wiire

While utilizing some nice controls, minus the awful motion-swinging sword game, there's little to no replay value. Top that off with barely amazing graphics for the little in the game as it is, and you're left with a big pile of D rating.- The Wiire

Too hard for casual gamers, too lacking for hardcore gamers, this is one title that will leave players looking elsewhere for a decent racing experience.- The Wiire

It's not bad, it's not great, it's not going to win any awards nor is it going to receive much recognition beyond another television series tie-in. The game is a decent experience with some really great stories, but the lack of incentive to come back makes this only worthwhile as a rental.- The Wiire

I think the developers missed a great opportunity to insert humor into the game with drastic overacting and exaggeration in the script. Instead of embracing the poor acting and making it a genuine part of the game, Pipeworks just replaced poor acting with poor dialogue and voice-overs.- The Wiire

A more thorough multiplayer experience with some form of online component could have raised this game's value substantially.- The Wiire

While there may be some hardcore gamers that will enjoy the many, many hours of repetitive racing, most players will only look forward to throwing this one out the window rather than deal with the archaic controls and numerous problems.- The Wiire

Sadly, what can be played contains more glitches and errors than most early game demonstrations to the press.- The Wiire

This is a $5 rhythm mini-game with Dancing with the Stars wrapping inflated to full retail price. This is the kind of "game" that kids typically get for mailing in 10 Ovaltine UPC bar codes and a nominal charge for shipping and handling.- The Wiire

Judged against what's already available for Wii for those with access to the Virtual Console, it's hard to imagine anyone choosing Barrel Blast over the superior Virtual Console game.- The Wiire

Make no mistake, even though the Slam Dunk Contest is guaranteed fun in short bursts, almost everything else about this game is broken. This includes the game's recognition of jump shots, which is the most fundamental aspect of basketball.- The Wiire

Although Boogie disappoints on a few levels, it does offer solace for those seeking more original games for Wii. Boogie shows us that developers are making an effort to look past traditional gameplay and imagine new designs for console gaming fun.- The Wiire

Transformers should never have made it past Activision's headquarters and it should never find its way into your Wii's drive.- The Wiire

The core mechanics of Pokemon might need tweaking, or maybe even revamping, to work within the parameters of Wii's capabilities, but after a decade of essentially selling players the same game on the company's handheld systems, fans might appreciate it if Nintendo took some risks with the franchise on its home consoles.- The Wiire

Compared to the PC version, the game is awful. But, as policy here at The Wiire, the game is entirely evaluated and graded without a thought of the PC version. So let me take this moment to say this: buy the PC version, as the Wii version is nothing more than a mouse simulation in the air with an additional analog stick.- The Wiire

Those who want to experience Prince of Persia: Rival Swords with motion sensors and 480p support (although widescreen is not supported) will pay a premium price for it, but they may find that the novelty is not worth the extra cash.- The Wiire
