But as Wii-makes go, Pets is as solid as the best of them, and in some ways perhaps better, by virtue of presenting loads of open-ended content with a powerful gaming interface.
-
The AI doesn't allow people to enter the house unless you greet them, sort of like vampires, but they can still ring the door bell or call the phone a plenty.
-
There is plenty to do and see and it adds a completely new level of variety to your Sims' already busy life.
-
I liked the game and did become semi-addicted to it. However the game does loose it pizzazz the further you get into it.
-
Nintendo GamerIt's exactly the same as the GC game. [Sept 2007, p.41]

If you haven’t spoken Similish in a few years, or are head over heels enamored with motion controls, this Sims 2 Pets could be a right neighborly slice of homemade pie. But for anyone else with a Wii and $50 bucks, we suggest you hold out for the upcoming "MySims."
-
Compared to the PC version, the game is awful. But, as policy here at The Wiire, the game is entirely evaluated and graded without a thought of the PC version. So let me take this moment to say this: buy the PC version, as the Wii version is nothing more than a mouse simulation in the air with an additional analog stick.
