The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is essential for any fighting game fan who owns a PS4 and more than worth the asking price. Having already played a ton of The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match through the Xbox Live Arcade release via backward compatibility on Xbox One, The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match with rollback netcode (also on Steam) is an absolute joy. I hope SNK considers bringing spectating and more online features to The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match on PS4 and Steam in the future because Code Mystics absolutely nailed it with this new PS4 release.- The Mako Reactor

SNK Vs Capcom: The Match of the Millennium is an excellent release for its low asking price. Code Mystics has done a fantastic job in making it feel great to play when docked on a TV or played in portable mode with its various display options. I can’t wait for the NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection compilation of games to release so I can get all the games in a single package. I knew Code Mystics does good work but the care put into SNK Vs Capcom: The Match of the Millennium has me interested to try out more games. If you’re a fan of either Capcom or SNK fighters, this is an essential on Nintendo Switch with its great music, minigames, fun combat, great roster, and more.- The Mako Reactor

While it is definitely dated in some ways, I ended up enjoying my time spent with it a lot more than expected. The way it blends multiple genres together and manages to keep your attention almost all the way is commendable given the game’s age. If you’re ok with some dated mechanics, there’s a lot to love in this treasure hunting mystery adventure RPG.- The Mako Reactor

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection feels like a hybrid between a remixed game and a new entry with how it is inspired by certain older game levels. It is a ruthless game that will test your skills even on lower difficulties with the trial and error required. While it might not be as accessible as Mega Man 11 was for newer fans, Capcom definitely did a great job with making a new Ghosts ‘n Goblins game that tried to be true to its name while still allowing for some accessibility options for those who want a less brutal experience.- The Mako Reactor

Gnosia is an ambitious game and one that I definitely am glad to have experienced over the last week. While the repetition and localisation issues hold it back, Gnosia is well worth experiencing. Blending the best of visual novels with a werewolf style game and bringing in skills and stats is not an easy task. Doing so while making me care about the characters and universe across dozens of hours is what makes Gnosia a game I can recommend to those looking for new ways to experience a narrative.- The Mako Reactor

Saviors of Sapphire Wings and Stranger of Sword City Revisited is an essential for DRPG fans. Even if you played the original Stranger of Sword City, the enhancements and additions make Stranger of Sword City Revisited worth your time and having Saviors of Sapphire Wings together with it for less than the price of a full-priced game makes this bundle an easy recommendation. While it lacks the accessibility options newer Etrian Odyssey games have, Saviors of Sapphire Wings and Stranger of Sword City Revisited are excellent DRPGs with gorgeous art, amazing music, and a ton of quality content for fans of the genre.- The Mako Reactor

Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection Volume 1 is a great value proposition for those looking to play these games because the individual games available are priced at $7.99 each while the collection with 10 games is priced at $39.99. Those who already bought a few or all of the games will not be too pleased about having to buy a collection for four games but those games would likely be priced at $7.99 on their own so this is like buying five individual games to get all 10. As a retro collection, Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection Volume 1 is easily one of the best of the lot on Nintendo Switch right now.- The Mako Reactor

Despite not matching up with the best entries in the series, Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is a great game and one I can’t wait to keep playing daily on Nintendo Switch.- The Mako Reactor
