Tennis in the Face is a good game heavily stifled by borrowed ideas and an insultingly short length. Its cheap price may entice you to pick it up in between bigger releases, but at the rate the Switch's eShop is expanding, you're best off saving your pennies for something more worthwhile.- Switch Player

While these punishing levels will take some patience to master, the charm and presentation help to keep you coming back. It’s a few more levels and some accessibility options short of being essential, but for platforming fans looking for a challenge this is a great purchase for the price.- Switch Player

BIT.TRIP FATE is a twin-stick rail shooter that is somewhat bullet hell-esque as well.- Switch Player

Code of Princess EX takes many influences from the classic brawlers, but, like a lot of them, it delivers a repetitive and boring gameplay loop. It tries to compensate that with tons of content, but it is hard to be encouraged to try it all when the basics are so weak.- Switch Player

Despite providing a lot of content, Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition is a sports game undecided about its audience. It mixes elements typical of both simulation and arcade experiences, but ends up coming touching down too early on both fronts.- Switch Player

A lack of multiplayer at release detracts from how brilliant (and essential) Tiny Metal could have been, but it's the next best thing to Advance Wars that's currently available on the Nintendo Switch. Fans of that and/or turn-based strategy games will find something worthwhile here, despite that not so tiny price.- Switch Player

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World should be looked upon as an example of what a 25-year-old game could look like with the graphical technology of today. It doesn’t veer far from the source material, though, so the game itself feels basic compared with what the modern-day gamer is used to.- Switch Player

Although Mr. Shifty is clearly inspired by Hotline Miami, it sets itself apart with the speed of the gameplay and the focus on quick reflex action. The Nintendo Switch version has some bugs as at launch, and the game can be beaten in just a few hours, but the fun and addictive experience makes this a worthy addition to your Switch library.- Switch Player

If you're familiar with the Lego franchise, you'll know exactly what you're getting into here. Lego: The Ninjago Movie Videogame is a fun, accessible title marred with some bizarre design choices and some unfortunate technical issues. Nevertheless, it'd make a great present for the kids.- Switch Player

Although it’s an impressive game, The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch is blighted by performance problems. Visual fidelity, character models, textures and framerate issues mar a fantastic story-telling experience. Wait for a patch or price-drop or play on another device.- Switch Player

This Is The Police takes the running of a police force and turns it into a strategic, management game with light RPG elements. You won't see any action here and the unreasonable, random demands made can be frustrating. However, throughout all of this, there is a narrative and a goal that can keep you engaged and entertained for many hours.- Switch Player

Warborn is a very by-the-numbers tactical strategy game. And while there’s nothing inherently wrong with this fact, the game doesn’t do enough to separate it from the pack or make it appealing to genre veterans.- Switch Player

Galaxy Champions TV is an unrelenting take on the top-down twin-stick shooter, but one filled with enough pixel-based charm and tight gunplay to make returning to it never a chore.- Switch Player

Heroland is very much a good concept rather than a good game, far too many shortcomings and and a lack of active gameplay make this a tough one to recommend. Unless you’re starved for things to play, look elsewhere.- Switch Player

There are many platformers out there deserving of a remake. Sadly, Pac-Man World Re-PAC doesn’t do much to earn one. It feels dated, with uninspired gameplay and basic level design. A few fun bosses and Pac-Man mazes can’t save it.- Switch Player

LEGO The Incredibles doesn't do anything new as far as LEGO games are concerned, but the Disney magic seeps through. These games work for their sense of adventure and their comedy, but they should have less focus on the grinding for bricks.- Switch Player

Vostok Inc. takes the cookie clicker genre, often played with a fleeting attention span, and spins it into an experience that you can't put down. The amount of different spinning plates to consider when constructing your capitalist, galactic empire is a challenge that is only made more satisfying by the pleasing music, graphics and varying space combat. It's a great game.- Switch Player

TOHU is a decent point-and-click puzzler, with attractive visuals and some fun mini-games. A lack of Switch-specific controls and an over-reliance on trial and error hold it back, but patient younger players will enjoy themselves.- Switch Player

If you're after a fun little multiplayer platform game, Spelunker Party! will briefly fill that void. Sadly, it falls short of a recommendation thanks to its steep price and outdated design choices. For now, you'd be better off either waiting for a price cut, or looking elsewhere.- Switch Player

If you’ve already played this on Wii U you’ll know what’s to come, and there won’t be the laughs to the extent there’d be if you’re a newbie. It’s certainly worth experiencing, but try and get those controls nailed down ASAP or you’re in for a frustrating time.- Switch Player

911 Operator is a joy to play, and you'll want it to go on for longer. It's not perfect, though - satisfying pay-offs to stories are absent, and it would be great to be able to purchase new resources during a level.- Switch Player

The VideoKid, though bearing noticeable similarities to popular mobile titles and with its fair share of faults and issues, is an affordable and entertaining drop-in indie title that you can pick up and play anytime. Challenging, yet charming, and with plenty of nods to 80s pop culture, this is a game that you will be retrying for hours in the hope of reaching your precious Jessica.- Switch Player

SELF perfectly utilises the text-based RPG format to create a thrilling narrative in a confusing world, matched by a sinister aesthetic. I would recommend to players that value story over gameplay, however, as the bullet-dodging mini-games don’t offer any real challenge.- Switch Player

There is a small amount of enjoyment to be found in SEN: Seven Eight Nine’s more challenging levels. However, the title fails to offer anything particularly novel or groundbreaking, and could also benefit from some quality-of-life improvements.- Switch Player
