Well attached to its inspirations and classic patterns in terms of narration and game design, Syberia The World Before is a very good point and click adventure, and a great tribute to Benoit Sokal.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin looks like a Nioh reskin with some Final Fantasy add-on like classes and monsters. Is a step backward due to an uninspired level design and a shallow story.

Wrestling lovers can finally enjoy a fun and deep video game again. WWE 2K22 is just the first step and we noticed a few things that still need an improvement, but it's a giant leap forward since the disappointing 2K20.

Egglia Rebirth in an inoffensive and relaxing little game, too easy and too shallow for old time JRPG aficionados, but suited for younger audiences and people who often play mobile games.

Triangle Strategy is the long-awaited successor to the excellent Final Fantasy Tactics, and a game that deserves to be played not only by turn-based RPG fans, but also by anyone who loves a dark and mature story and very well-written characters.

Gran Turismo 7 embraces the career mode and presents a whole new aesthetics for menus and competitions. Nevertheless, it is a game that refuses the modernity and chooses to be identical to the first GT in terms of AI inconsistency.

The Switch version of the Ezio Collection is recommended to the people who only own Nintendo's hybrid system, but whoever can play it elsewhere will save a lot of money. Still, a solid effort from Ubisoft.

Elex II retains both the best qualities and the worst problems of its predecessor, but it's overall a better game. Still, it's hard to recommend it without qualms to anyone who hasn't played a Piranha Bytes RPG before.

Shadow Warrior 3 feels more linear than the previous game, but is indeed fun and over-the-top. Unfortunately, it's way shorter than it should and you are left with the feeling that it ends when the fun was just starting to unfold.

Grid Legends is a fun driving experience for fans, but it's pretty far from what Grid has always been for long time virtual drivers and has some ideas that needed a better refinement. Despite this, the game is enjoyable and full of contents to explore.

Martha is Dead is a suggestive adventure game: the narrative plot is very interesting, as well as the way the story is told. Too bad about the gameplay not being too in-depth.

A fun little gem for retrogames' lovers. It still has something to improve on Switch, both on the technical and the difficulty side, but it plays like a breath of nostalgia for long-time fans of shoot'em ups.

We had high expectations for Monark, as some of the people who worked on it have given birth to some of the old Persona games, but we've come highly disappointed, due to absurd design choices and PS2 era graphics.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires gives the player a wide and deeper range of possibilities than its predecessors to lead a successful campaign conquering third-century China. However, despite its deeper management and its simple (indeed solid) one-versus-thousands formula, it fails to completely develop its growth from the past, also struggling with a graphic engine still overwhelmed with fatigue and technical issues. Give it a try (even with the demo) and then decide.
