Batman: The Brave and The Bold is a comic and cartoon-based game for Nintendo Wii. It features a vintage style that perfectly fits the spirit of the old-style Dark Knight, but the gameplay lacks in variety and depth.

Metroid Other M is very ambitious. Tradition and modern join together to create a new, wonderful experience.

The good old Worms is back on pc and it's looking better than ever. A lot of missions and game modes will take a lot of time to complete, and the multiplayer it's more than enough of a reason to justify the purchase for old-time fans of the series and newcomers alike. The only criticism we have is that in 15 years the gameplay remained basically unchanged from that of the original title. It's still great fun, but maybe it's time for something new.

Mafia 2 is a great experience, thanks to a believable cast of characters and a wonderful setting. Sadly, the lack of longevity and some technical flaws somehow spoil the global experience, especially if compared with other recent free roaming experiences.

Shank is a 2D beat'em up with a great style and gameplay; on the other hand, a poor replay value and a short main story don't make it one of the tops.

Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light is one of the best action/adventure of the Xbox Live Arcade lineup. Great graphics, fast-paced action, an excellent offline coop mode and a high replay value, it's worth all of its price. Only issue is the lack of an online coop mode and some cheesy voice acting.

Kane and Lynch 2 is a definite improvement over its predecessor, but it still has some flaws. The cover system is still clunky and the singleplayer campaign is definitely too short. Still, the game has a great style. It's movie-like, with a charismatic leading pair of characters, original online modes and the added treat of the co-op campaign. It could've been more, but as it is, it's just a pretty good shooter.

An old style adventure, carved out a fast paced combat system and a retro feeling that will seduce anyone who ever played a former game starring the red-haired Adol. Not a masterpice for the ones who don't know the series, though.

Puzzle Quest 2 it's the true sequel of a title that revolutionized the puzzle games genre. It retains all the fun, addictive gameplay and originality of it's predecessor. It's not perfect, the gameplay was dumbed down a bit and it can be a bit boring near the end, but we still reccomend it to anyone who loved the first, loves old style RPGS or simply loves puzzle games.

An entertaining arcade racing game with well developed online and social component. It lacks depth and contents, but being free-to-play we can't complain to much. We suggest to give it a try, but surely EA needs to introduce a lot of new stuff, or the servers will be empty in no time.

Starcraft 2 takes its predecessor and brings it to the next level. Blizzard decided to stick to the original gameplay and improve it, creating an extremely fun and addictive experience. This game has a fantastic singleplayer campaign with a great story, lots of added achievements and challenges to complete and an awesome competitive multiplayer component. It is, simply put, one of the best PC games in years.

Simple and light as an idea, LIMBO runs away in a couple of hours, leaving traces blurred and steamy as the world it creates around the player. Easy to play, funny and intelligent, it shows how this industry can still live on simple ideas.

Download Alien Swarm. Do it, it's an order. It's one of the best freeware games of all times. It's fun, addictive and has great growth possibilities considering how actively the Steam community is already working on it. Thanks for the gift Valve, we love it.

Some fresh ideas in this funny and debunking action RPG. What makes it really unique is the humour, and there's a good bunch of fun to be had slaying the enemies. It lacks some deeper growth of the character and some better puzzles, but for genre lovers it's really worth every cent of its small price.

Four years later, Darkstar One comes back on the Xbox 360 identical to the PC version and well adapted for console controllers. The experience is quite deep and lets the player enjoy many different missions, but in the end you will find yourself fighting too often. Also, technically suffers its age, despite the 1080p resolution. If you like the genre, anyway, this game is at the moment your only choice.

Some will say it's a "conservative" game, others that there's nothing new about it, some that it's a good game and nothing more. But all of them will spend hundreds of hours into it, and believe us, they will have fun. A lot of it.

The Crackdown brand hasn't aged well. Three years in the making don't justify the complete lack of innovation, on top of it every old drawback is still there: repetitive, lacking even a simple storytelling, occasionally bugged. Even the four player coop doesn't live up to the expectations. If you played (and loved) the first one there are no reasons whatsoever to buy this sequel. On the other hand, if you don't know the brand and can live with dated graphics and obsolete gameplay mechanics, it can still be funny.

Tournament of Legends disappoints in many aspects and we wonders at this point if it was really needed an environment change from the original ideas in Gladiator A.D. . The only 10 fighters in the game are the classic stereotypical heroes already seen a thousand times in other fighting games.

The expectations for APB were high, maybe too high, and the finished product doesn't live up to the hype. The result is a simplistic shooter with an awesome character editor that can be fun for a while, but lacks content and variety to justify a monthly subscription. Maybe Realtime Worlds can still do something about that but, for now, what's there is just not enough.

Apart from useless dialogues and a sheer amount of out of place JRPG elements, a funny tennis title, and an excellent porting from the Playstation2. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
