The Switch version of Paper Mario and the Thousand-year door is a rare delight, just like the GameCube one before it: it's a funny and clever mix between a turn based RPG and a platform game, full of jokes and memorable characters. The price might be a little bit steep and the frame rate is halved if compared to the original, but it's still worth to dip your toes into it even twenty years later.

“No compromises” is the road Blizzard has chosen. Legacy of the Void is not a simpler game than its predecessors, it’s just much faster, and even more skill oriented than it was before. When it comes to the RTS genre Blizzard is still the emperor, and this game demonstrates it once again with an amazing and bulky single-player campaign, a lot of great extra content, and some brilliant changes to the competitive multiplayer structure. It’s not easy playing Starcraft II, but it’s worth it.

Fans asked for Diablo, Blizzard delivered. Diablo III isn't the amazing evolution of the hack 'n' slash genre everyone was expecting, but it's still an incredibly good game that will challenge you like no other if you decide to deeply explore everything it has to offer. Diablo is back, say goodbye to your social life.

Five new maps, fifteen new weapons, new vehicles and beautiful settings make this package a must have for all the FPS fans. A single player campaign, though short, would've make it really perfect.

Steamworld Dig 2 builds a solid metroidvania explorative game upon the foundations laid by its predecessor. Better combat, better level design, better graphics and more in depth gameplay makes this one of the best indie titles available on Nintendo Switch.

A great first episode for the LittleBigPlanet franchise on PSVita: creating and sharing has never been this easy and fun, even if the platform sections aren't as polished as expected.

This is the best version of the best (or one of the top three, in any case) shoot'em up ever, with a glorious TATE mode and a 2-player coop that will both blast you. Do we need to say more?

One of the best World of Warcraft expansions marked by the addition of features like Artifact Weapons, well-made new zones, Class Halls and a superb storyline. Everything in Legion is perfectly designed and will not disappoint you.

Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire plays it safe just like its predecessor, and it has a worse main storyline, but it compensates with a greater and richer world to explore, better friendly AI, a refined combat system and much better side quests. In short, a must buy for fans of cRPGs.

A great return for the NFS saga. Driving is funny, weapons are balanced and Autolog keeps you always busy. It's a shame the the only original race mode is Hot Pursuit. Another couple in the mix could've made the fun last longer.

Offering exactly the same contents of the PS4 version, Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice on Xbox comes as a no brainer for the ones who love narrative and mature themes in a videogame, but may not be so palatable for the ones who primarily ask interactivity to a game.

Street Fighter 6 once again proves itself to be an outstanding fighting game, even on the Switch 2. The graphical downgrade is minor and most noticeable in handheld mode, while on a 4K TV the differences compared to more powerful consoles are significantly reduced. Being able to play it on the go is a major plus—especially since, unlike the original launch version from two years ago, this one includes all Season 1 and 2 characters at no extra cost. It also features two simple but fun exclusive modes designed for casual play with friends. The only major drawback is the World Tour mode, which runs at just 30 fps—something that can be quite frustrating. Aside from that, though, we’re still talking about one of the best fighting games of this generation, and it holds up well on the Switch 2. One word of advice: if you’re planning to play seriously, we strongly recommend investing in a proper controller—Joy-Cons are far from ideal for a game this technical.

A titanic piece of work that embodies everything that made the Halo series legendary. The changes to the formula aren't many, and affect mostly the enormous multiplayer portion of the title, but everything is so polished and pushed to the limit that we can't help but think this will be the last "classic" Halo around.

We disagree with the people at Atlus and their decision to leave Tartarus as it was, but nonetheless this is one of the best JRPGs of the modern era, and this remake makes it shine like it deserves. The one for this review was our fifth run in eighteen years and we still didn't feel any fatigue playing it. Let's just hope the devs will include Persona 3 FES and Portable content later down the road.

An amazingly intense and brilliant experience. The sheer intelligence of the puzzles created by Blow and his team is staggering, and the beauty of the island impressive by itself. For puzzle game fans The Witness is a masterpiece: a perfectly logical game, but also one that is not scared to be hard, and for once does not treat the player like an idiot. Just play it, it's worth every penny.
