Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a very important game in these dark times. It can take you on a magical journey to a faraway land filled with fun and dangers. There are few minor hiccups, but the game is still really good.- SECTOR.sk

Playing Tunic feels like revisiting something old, not like something new and original. It's an engaging indie gem with beautiful graphics and oldschool adventuring, but its lack of narrative can make you feel lost and not interested.- SECTOR.sk

If you are fans of old-school gameplay, tactical combat and lengthy dialogues, you will enjoy Tactics Ogre like other players 25 years ago. But this time with some improvements, on various platforms and for price around 50 EUR.- SECTOR.sk

Judgment and Lost Judgment collection is finally also on PC. Whether the first or the second game ends up being your favorite, the fact is that both are worth playing, and it might even get you hooked on the Yakuza series that came before them.- SECTOR.sk

More than 500 cars, 20 completely redesigned tracks, each with different variations, an already rich career and addictive multiplayer. And that's just the beginning of the new Forza Motorsport. Turn 10 is truly delivering a next-generation racing game that strips away the bells and whistles to focus on the driving and the experience. You're going to drive a lot, you're going to improve, you're going to unlock new things and you're going to have fun. That's the most important thing.- SECTOR.sk

NetherRealm has really managed to make an exceptionally high quality title that is great story-wise and handles the brand boldly, yet with honour. Mortal Kombat 1 may very well be the best fighting game in this busy year, and it ranks among the best that this well-known franchise has ever delivered.- SECTOR.sk

I can recommend MLB The Show 23, but not to everyone. It's a very good game that even players who aren't necessarily baseball fans can enjoy. And that's totally cool. Other sports series should also have such options. However, in terms of content, there are very few changes. The educational story mode in The Negro Leagues is great. Some minor changes in other modes are also nice. But it's more like an expansion of 22. Even on the technical side and also on the rules side.- SECTOR.sk

With the arrival of Vessel of Hatred, Diablo IV seems to be a different and even better game than Diablo IV was after its release. While the story content feels underwhelming and short, the expansion shines in its gameplay improvements. The introduction of the new Spiritborn class, offering versatile and customizable play styles, along with the Mercenaries, Kurast Undercity and Dark Citadel enhance the game significantly.- SECTOR.sk

There are shortcomings. Some date back as far as 30 years. Nevertheless, I believe this is a collection that should not be missing from the library of any fan of the genre. Many people got it for free from the library anyway. Two once-popular fantasy action games have been revived in a modernised version with a huge amount of content, lots of improvements, and new features that make them even better games.- SECTOR.sk

When Bravely Default launched, it was a very solid 3DS exclusive RPG with combat system taking a new approach. Its HD version show that this JRPG aged well and the better graphics enhances visual experience, astonishing atmosphere and great tactics. It is a double return – to FF roots and its own start with perfect Brave & Default moves.- SECTOR.sk

This should become the gold standard of modern processing of classic games. Many publishers will continue to bring mere ports and such, but here Digital Eclipse has shown how it should be done. It's not enough to just stretch the game to a higher resolution. Bonus materials, videos, audios, documents, photos, and various other things add tremendous value. Similarly, different versions of games, from prototypes through final releases to modern remaster, contribute as well. This is simply how it should look.- SECTOR.sk

Chants of Sennaar also has the advantage that there hasn't really been another game like this one. There may be a few indie deciphering adventure games, but they lack the rich narrative and well-crafted aesthetics of Chants of Sennaar.- SECTOR.sk

Super Mario RPG is such a nice rarity - it retains the gameplay and quality of an honest-to-goodness RPG from the 90s, and gets a new visual coat and nice controls. Although it will take some getting used to in the first few hours, you'll get the hang of it and then you won't put the game down so easily.- SECTOR.sk

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is a worthy tribute to the iconic franchise, blending games, archival footage, and history into a cohesive interactive documentary. However, it feels incomplete — some key titles and features are missing, and the historical coverage ends too soon.- SECTOR.sk

Overall, we got a surprisingly good Call of Duty this year, and it's exactly what the series needed after the last very weak Modern Warfare III installment. It offers a very impressive campaign with some unique missions, but also a nice return of the zombies back to the basics of attacking in waves, and the massive multiplayer part has been brought to life nicely by omnimovement.- SECTOR.sk

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is a dream come true for long-time fans who have waited years for a new Budokai Tenkaichi installment. While it doesn't introduce anything groundbreaking, it offers enjoyable gameplay and a massive amount of content that can keep you entertained for dozens of hours. However, the game is not trying to attract new players—it's made strictly for fans and won't have much appeal to others.- SECTOR.sk

Undoubtedly a very high-quality turn- based strategy. The remarkable combination of Heroes, Civilization (4X) and Total War brings a large number of options that you can use on different maps, it's just a shame that without a full-fledged story. At first it might seems to be complicated and a little messy, but you'll get the hang of it quickly.- SECTOR.sk
