Even if you only end up playing for 10 minutes at a time, Timberman is a fair addition to the 3DS eShop for just $1.99. Just don’t expect any depth.- Pure Nintendo

Project Nimbus: Complete Edition is a fast-paced, action-packed shooter with smooth controls, vivid graphics, and three different modes to keep you busy for a while. At the price of $20, it’s worth a try.- Pure Nintendo

Despite its cheap price tag of US$5.OO, it remains hard to recommend due to its non-intuitive nature without a tutorial. I’d highly suggest that AskAnEnemyStudios considers adding a tutorial section if they want more people to take this game on Switch seriously. Personally, I don’t see the game being worth anyone’s hard-earned cash, especially for parents looking for a game to pick up for their child.- Pure Nintendo

Giga Wrecker Alt is a pretty cool game. It has some issues and likely won’t compel all players to keep going, but the puzzles are good, and getting to throw a ton of junk to smash a robot is always fun. The game looks good, sounds good, and offers plenty of play time, so get in there and wreck it.- Pure Nintendo

Overall, Golem Gates, is a unique take on the card-playing genre and welcome addition to the Switch library. Nonetheless, it has some minor flaws, even if it remains functionally intact. Either Way, Golem Gates is a must try for anyone looking for a strategy game on Switch and/or a fun multiplayer option! I can definitely see this game being something I come back to during airport gameplay sessions, or even just when I have a bunch of time to kill.- Pure Nintendo

So, what we’ve got in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a well-designed game that’s poorly developed. A championship-caliber team that needs another few months (or perhaps another year) of training camp. 505 Games has promised to fix the glaring problems, but I can’t review a game based on promises. There’s still some fun to be had here, but it shouldn’t have been released in its current state. Wait for the updates. If they don’t come, wait for a sale…and stay away from the bookshelves.- Pure Nintendo

Altogether, My Friend Pedro is a speedrunner’s paradise, offering a charming story with good gunplay for its price tag. But if you are looking for pure replay value you won’t find that here (unless you are a speedrunner).- Pure Nintendo

Forest Home is a pleasant puzzler with cute animals that will charm and challenge children until it gets too big for them. It takes a long while to get interesting for older gamers, but at least the woodland characters don’t get annoying along the way. The sheer volume of puzzles explains the asking price, but it’s unlikely players in any age group are going to finish them all. Maybe that’s the point; let the whole family take their turns on the same account and, after a while, all of the forest creatures will finally find their home.- Pure Nintendo

While the mystery in Alternate Jake Hunter: DAEDALUS The Awakening of Golden Jazz is entertaining, the rhythm felt off with multiple lulls and heavy dialogue that hampered the experience of the story overall.- Pure Nintendo

The devs need to look at the level of quality or lack thereof. Just because a game can coast on mobile doesn’t mean it’s the right choice for the Switch. GoFishing 3D is just too poor on so many levels. Not to mention it is absurdly priced, making it only worthwhile as a catch and release game to those wanting an overpriced chuckle.- Pure Nintendo

Overall, Warlocks 2: God Slayers is not perfect, but it definitely plays like it. With extensive replay incentive, charming quirks, in-depth customization, and satisfying combat, it is hard not to recommend this title. It is a fun metroidvania package, and one worth a try even if the genre isn’t your favorite and/or hasn’t stood out.- Pure Nintendo

I would say War Tech Fighters does a fairly good job of living up to the claim of combining anime with blockbusters. The action is fairly steady throughout the game. The ability to upgrade and customize your War Tech is tons of fun. Aside from the load times, everything about this game says yes. If you’re looking for a ton of action, War Tech Fighters is certainly a game you should try.- Pure Nintendo

In the end, My Big Sister had a story that stands out from the crowd. With multiple outcomes, it certainly does hold the value of it’s asking price of $5.99. Players looking for a more traditional RPG experience may want to steer away. If, however, you’re seeking a good puzzler RPG with a decent sense of humor that helps lighten some dark themes, then My Big Sister is something to check out.- Pure Nintendo

Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! Is the ultimate food tycoon-management game, and the best one on the platform to date. I would recommend to anyone looking for a game like this to ignore those cheap budget food tycoon titles springing onto the Eshop as of late, and instead, save up a few more dollars to purchase this game instead.- Pure Nintendo

VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is a unique experience that’s literally a book in game form. Mixing drinks and changing lives proves to be a blast as you interact with many interesting characters. There’s loads of reading to do here but as long as you’re ready to read a novel while you play, this is one book, er, game that you won’t want to put down.- Pure Nintendo

Refunct feels like the promising start of something bigger and better. Despite some real potential, it ends up bringing little that excites or leave much of an impression, due to its scant half hour or so of gameplay. It’s priced right, but Refunct might be a game you only play once.- Pure Nintendo

Despite the innovations taken with Doodle God: Crime City, I can’t help but feel they held back. Whilst I understand the lack of a multiplayer mode for this sort of game, it is a noticeable omission when placed alongside its short campaign and freemium model. The game is far from perfect, but it takes interesting steps with its City mode, and provides a Doodle God experience like none other, which I can appreciate. Experiencing the world of crime from both a cop and criminal perspective is a good theme and only gives me more hope for the future of the series. Considering its relatively low asking price, it is hard to not recommend the game. That being said, if you aren’t a fan of puzzle games, this won’t change your mind.- Pure Nintendo

Whilst I can’t justify anyone purchasing this title, there was effort put in at least… The developer’s pride for an Advance Wars style game shined through, which I can appreciate. It has its issues whether it be a cluttered user interface, bad graphics, and similar environments, which can make it easy to overlook this title, and I can’t say you’d be missing much. If you are an Advance Wars fan, you might want to try looking elsewhere, that is, if you can’t overlook these points of concern (a good starting place might be Chucklefish’s latest hit – Wargroove).- Pure Nintendo

The 32-bit generation is one that I feel more indies should look toward after a plethora of 8-bit and 16-bit inspired titles have already dominated the scene. But Back in 1995 is too visually distracting, too slow, and too short for its $9.99 price. Nonetheless, the idea here is sound. With a better camera, a bit more speed, some expanded gameplay, and less negligence towards full-on emulation, a future installment could provide a nice retro fix.- Pure Nintendo

Gato Roboto accomplishes so much with so little. Even those it looks like a game that would be on the Atari 2600 or the big brick Gameboy, every aspect of Kiki’s world glows as bright as one of the best of the Metroidvania genre. Plus, it’s a cat in a mech suit, does a game get any more charming than that?- Pure Nintendo

Is ZARA the Fastest Fairy worth 98 cents on your New Nintendo 3DS? It may surprise you to learn that yes, I kind of think it is. As much as my brain wants to fight me on this, I actually rather enjoy playing the game in short bursts. The 3D piloting effect is well done, the action is snappy, and the music is a riot (so long as you don’t expose yourself to it for too long). It’s not a game you’ll ever go out of your way to play, but keep it on your home screen and you might be surprised how often you’ll bust it open.- Pure Nintendo
