Subnautica is a thrilling survival game set on a watery alien planet. With engaging survival combat and a beautiful world to explore, the only thing bringing this mobile port down is the autosave freeze issue.

With a swashbuckling pace, slightly-absurdest humour and genius puzzles, Episode 3 proves a confident hump. Performance issues remain troubling, though.

Despite (or perhaps because of) its deranged narrative, Frederic is a stylish confection that truly does justice to the poet of the piano.

Wimp is a charming, colourful platformer with inventive levels and great physics-led puzzles. It controls well and is bursting at the seams with content. An easy recommendation.

Cult of the Lamb is a fantastic cult simulator with a lot of management and action elements to it. The port to mobile feels smooth and polished, bringing a lot of fun to this pocket-sized cult.

As brash and carefree as some of its protagonists, The World Ends with You: Solo Remix doesn't make a seamless translation to iOS, but it's worth the entry price all the same.

I came into Blue Protocol: Star Resonance thinking I wouldn’t like it at all. I was expecting another bland gacha fest, but I was dead wrong. The combat is really fun, the characters are endearing, and I really enjoyed my time here. There are some things that could do with changing, in particular, the limited character slots and lack of class previews, but I genuinely can’t wait to be able to return when it officially releases.

An exceptional port of one of my favourite games. However, there is a question of how this almost ten-year-old game could have been slightly better adapted to mobile for commuters and how it will develop from here.

In fellow bridge maker, Poly Bridge 3, you could view the winning constructions of players on its leaderboard, which was a nice twist, but even without that Bridge Constructor Studio is a polished puzzle game with near endless scope for tinkering, as you try and complete each challenge with fewer and cheaper materials.

Pokemon Friends feels like a really well-thought-out puzzle game, with a lot of fantastic features to it! I do wish the game had a way to do more puzzles without paying and that the yarn made more sense to me, but overall, I have enjoyed getting my adorable Pokemon plushies.

Visually, Primrows is so much better to look at than a bunch of numbers on the grid. I do like the journal and the way that every single match can be turned into points in some way. It feels delightful, slow, and fun.

Crashlands 2 takes what the original Crashlands had and adds a few shiner layers to it with a new look, tweaked mechanics, and a harsh but exciting world that will take a lot of time to experience.
