Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an ambitious title and Platinum Games delivers! The resulting game is pure hack & slash, filled with interesting features like the Blade mode and the Jack the Ripper mode, that manage to make the game feel fresh and, at times, even unique. It's a joy from beginning to end and even though Revengeance isn't a long game by any stretch of the word, you won't regret spending any of your hard-earned money on it.

Sadly the PS3 version of Crysis 3 is the worst version compared to the other platforms. The PS3 version is filled with framedrops, pop-ups, audio glitches and disappointing graphics. The singleplayer is fine, but it's short and the story is far from interesting. A fun shooter at best, but certainly no more than that. If you want the best experience you’re better off with the Xbox or PC version.

A major disappointment in almost every way. The AI is dumb, the graphics obsolete, the animations at times absolutely horrible and the story boring. It's not scary, not engaging and certainly not exiting. It's just not good, period.

Good 2D platform/puzzle games are scarce nowadays and it almost looked like Double Fine had that part covered. Almost. False advertising made us think that we would be drooling over this game, while now all we do is cry over it. Admitted: the Monkey Island-ish humour is still hilarious and in coop play we had a few laughs over stupid things, but that’s not enough to make up for the high hopes we had, that now lie in ashes.

This trilogy is a great example of too little, too late. Don’t get us wrong: Agent 47 and all his perils mashed into a trilogy pack make for a great way to spend your day, but it should have released before Absolution. With the physics being completely outdated and the so-so graphics, it drains our primitive need to play. We just play for old times’ sake and we still love it.

With the charm Alien Breed had in 1991, it returns in 2013. It weathered the test of time without failure, when it once again knows to win us over for another go – and now even on the go on PlayStation Vita. The levels are endlessly replayable, so you get the most out of your money’s worth buying this game.

If all you ever dreamt of is to starr in a Ghibli movie – to be cartoonified and just be able to control whatever happens – you shouldn’t miss out on Ni No Kuni. It features extensive gameplay amidst an atmospheric world topped with a compelling story. It has everything a modern RPG needs to satisfy a gamer’s every need.

Even though EA and Visceral chose to focus more on full-out action and less on the creepy horror atmosphere which made you pause the game in tight spots just so you could breathe easily, Dead Space 3 is a worthy successor to Dead Space 2. It has a few new additions to the game like weapon crafting and cooperative play, which makes it all the more fun. Though Dead Space shouldn’t be fun, it should scare you sh.tless!

A lot of people have complained about the look of the new Devil May Cry and frankly, they should just play the game instead. Ninja Theory has changed things up quite a bit, but they haven't touched the core of the franchise. DmC is an excellent hack & slash game which has a few problems, but then again: nobody's perfect.

Weak graphics and underpopulated servers aside, Anarchy Reigns is a great game. The strong story and extensive multiplayer are the main draws.

Even though the story is hard to get into, consider it worth the wait when you do. Not only does the game have different endings, all ways to get there are intertwined. It's a touching and very challenging game that keeps you guessing whether you made the right decision or not, but don't feel surprised if it turns out to be both.

League of Legends with a Lord of the Rings skin is... well, as good as you would expect League of Legends with a Lord of the Rings skin to be. Frame-drops and bad connections aside, you won't regret a purchase.

The return of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is a good one. It still is a rather original game with great controls and a lot of gameplay variations. It's a shame some design choices and the graphics aren't that great, though.

This is quite a different adventure than we've come to expect from Nathan Drake and his cohorts, but that doesn't make it a bad game. Playing the Uncharted card game is actually a lot of fun. It's accessible and has enough content to remain in your PlayStation Vita for a long time to come.

Sine Mora certainly isn't for everyone. It's a relatively oldschool game and it's pretty challenging. The story doesn't amount to much and the lack of a cross-buy feature also doesn't work in Sine Mora's favor, but apart from that, the game is a lot of fun.

Zone of the Enders HD is a great collection. The first one feels a bit dated and simplistic, but the second one is definitely one of the best mech games ever made. If you've never played these and find yourself intrigued by the concept, don't hesitate to buy it.

Epic Mickey 2's concept is simply brilliant, throwing together a fun Disney-themed universe, fitting music and very enjoyable gameplay elements. It's a shame that the brilliance doesn't amount to AI, clear mission objectives and general sloppiness. The game should be praised for its fantastic PlayStation Move implementation and playing the title with a friend cuts down on the frustration. In the end, though, we cannot recommend this mousy adventure.

The PS3 version received a well-deserved high score and the same goes for the Vita edition. The game plays great, the characters are well-balanced and there's an awesome amount of content. The loading times are rather long and there's a few minor hick-ups here and there, but overall PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale remains a must-buy, even on Vita.

A different approach to the well-established formula of Ratchet & Clank that works well... for the most part. The single-player is extremely short, but the strategic nature of the gameplay makes the online multiplayer very enjoyable.

A well-made fighting game with enough content to keep the disc spinning in your PS3 for months to come. Lackluster AI and wooden animations, however, keep WWE '13 from getting more praise.

It's good to know that we can still be surprised these days. Sony's platform career is pretty much FUBAR these days, but the hedgehog with a need for speed still delivers on the racing front. It's not all that challenging, but apart from that there really isn't anything wrong with Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed.

We've gotten quite emotionally invested into the characters of this great videogame series and now Telltale delivers a worthy pay-off. You won't forget this anytime soon, we promise - and neither will you regret a purchase.

Well, at least it's a lot better than we thought it would be, with its fun gameplay mechanics, attractive visual style and well-developed multiplayer modes. F1 Race Stars is, however, a bit too repetitive and isn't as packed with content as we'd hoped, which makes it a little difficult to recommend.

A unique style, challenging puzzles, a fun story and strong level-design make PiD a well-made platform game. Long loading times, an often frustrating difficulty curve and disappointing audio keep it from being a truly great one.

Everyone says PlayStation All-Stars does nothing but cheaply rip off Super Smash Brothers, but there's more to it than that. A lot more, in fact. This is in every way a solid fighter, with a large and well-balanced (though not yet as good as it could have been) cast, many colourful stages and deep, rewarding gameplay elements. Above all it's fun - if not at times a little chaotic.

Far Cry 3 is definitely one of the best shooters of the year, if not simply the best. Its environment is huge, the surprises and discoveries it offers plenty. The story is solid, the action superb and the RPG-elements well implemented. A must have for every shooter fan.

Hitman is back and we couldn't be happier. The lack of a competitive mutiplayer is regrettable because of the high gameplay potential, but overall this is a great continuation of 2006's Blood Money with improvements all over the board. Welcome back, Agent 47. We sure as hell missed you.

Wonderbook: Book of Spells is the first game for Sony's new Wonderbook system and therefore has to be good in order to sell the device. Fortunately, the game delivers in almost every way, aiming at young gamers and implementing augmented reality and the PlayStation Move superbly. Based on the Harry Potter universe (and co-produced by J.K. Rowling) this game will also give Potter fans a kick with its magical atmosphere.
