While not necessarily blowing any expectations out of the water, Beasts of Maravilla Island sits steadily among its peers as a charming experience made by a small team.- Player 2

Fun but forgettable as a single-player title, Dark Alliance comes alive in the presence of friends. A must play for those that like the idea of fantastical adventuring in the company of others.- Player 2

All in all, Dread Nautical is a reasonably unremarkable game. It does well with the foundational ideas of the genres that it utilises and meets its objectives with a suitable story. However, it is more of a novelty than an advancement.- Player 2

A trip back in time in both good and bad ways, Wanted: Dead is bad, but intentionally so. There is sure to be a crowd that will enjoy this PS2 throwback, but it won't hold the attention of modern gamers for long.- Player 2

I’m not one to come out and say the developers are lazy or anything naïve as that, but it definitely reeks of a decision from high management to push out a pre-loved game from yesteryear with as little effort as possible. And to be brutally honest, that sucks. Battlefront 1 and 2 deserved a lot more than this.- Player 2

A big bowl of comfort food gaming, Werewolf is a game that feels like a throwback to simpler times. It is a welcome blast from start to finish and while ultimately forgettable, it is undeniably fun while it lasts.- Player 2

A great community-focused PvE shooter that is held back by aggressive and manipulative monetisation. If those dodgy tactics can be ignored, players will find a lot to like, but that is a big if.- Player 2

Fans of One Punch Man may find enjoyment in interacting with the characters from the anime, especially since it is an English dub, but for others, the repetitive gameplay won’t be enough to make them go the distance.- Player 2

Neverwinter Nights 2 is the game you loved from nearly 20 years ago, almost as you remember it, with multiplayer restored, and bugs for good measure. As a remaster, it’s a pretty by-the-numbers effort, but it gets the job done.- Player 2

A broken experience, that despite some promise, fails to entertain as either an arcade racing title or a serious simulation of off-road motorsport.- Player 2

Glitchy mechanics and a lack of polish get in the way of this otherwise innovative, whimsical puzzle-platformer. I want to wholeheartedly recommend it as a game for the whole family, but sadly several broken elements stop it from being a must-play.- Player 2

The whole experience is outdated and poorly designed which leads to nothing but frustration and regret. To add icing to the terrible cake, the game lacks any sort of coherent story or even likeable characters to help get players through the rest of the problems. When the only nice thing you can say about a game is that it works, well things are rather bleak I am afraid. Gungrave G.O.R.E is, simply a bad experience and one I can’t recommend for anyone, even those with a deep love for the IP it is based upon.- Player 2

The big issues with this title are that it feels unfinished and very thin in terms of content and gameplay. There’s no single-player or offline content to be found here, and when you see how ‘smart’ the AI Soldiers are and how they act as bullet sponges with questionable hitboxes. You’ll understand why. This leads us to believe that the game is still a work in progress, and although this potentially can mean that these issues will be smoothed out or changed in the future, from the copy that’s on the shelves right now, this is what you get.- Player 2

Sure, gaming has evolved since its initial release, but those nostalgic for games and Star Wars films of another time might find this humble adventure worth their time, even if it won’t blow their mind.- Player 2

While billed as a tribute to Grand Theft Auto, the implementation of one of the main mechanics is severely lacking. Despite this, if you go into Rustler as a game in its own right it can provide some entertainment if you can get past some of the over the top writing.- Player 2

The ultimate monkey’s paw. We should be reveling in the return of more Legacy of Kain, but instead, poor design decisions blunt the impact of this franchise return in nearly every conceivable way.- Player 2

While making the giant robots the focus of the sequel is a good start, it doesn’t make up for the shortfalls in the gameplay loop and certain design choices carried over from the first game.- Player 2

If you don’t think the idea of becoming best friends with horses and just hanging out with them on an island sounds fun, you won’t enjoy this game. But if it’s going to tap into that same part of childlike wonder that I felt from the moment I loaded it up and chose my first horse, then it could be for you.- Player 2

Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires isn’t as good as the sum of its parts. Everything that’s here has been done better in the past, and I truly hope the next one is better. Still, it scratched the itch for a while.- Player 2

I really wanted to like Lego Brawls, it is such a cool idea. Sadly the fact is, it is just a bad game. Not bad in an overly broken or offensive way. Bad because it seems to delight in mediocrity. Everything feels half-baked and half-realised, kind of like my 16-year-old’s homework, and it means it quickly squandered any potential in the idea of a Lego Smash Bros.- Player 2

Nom Nom Apocalypse is a fine game, but the gimmick of facing off against food-based enemies grows old quick, as doe the rather repetitive gameplay and soundtrack. A shame given it has so much potential.- Player 2

Overall while enjoyment can be found in Spuds Unearthed, it is a game that is very much better in small doses than extended playthroughs. While there are limited environments the ones present are colourful and look cool in VR. It is just a shame that the lack of information and the lack of evolution to the battles as you progress holds the game back from being truly fun.- Player 2

Combining the operatic aspects into a video game means that the viewer becomes an actor and divides the attention of the player between trying to figure out what they have to do and what is going on in the rest of the scene. It is a balancing act that the team at Capricia Productions have not quite managed to overcome, and yet I want to see what they can do with the format in the future.- Player 2
