The only truly decent thing in the game is the music, and the fact that it's undeniably cool to explore the sets from the trilogy. [Issue#154, p.68]- Play UK

While never truly bad, Knack's simple gameplay and dull level design make it tough to recommend. [Issue#238, p.64]- Play UK

Make no mistake: Reality Fighters is a reasonably impressive technical showpiece first and foremost. The game, which is unfortunately the main draw and the main reason to buy the thing, is an afterthought. And a pretty poor one at that.- Play UK

This is far from the return to form many have expected, and we now see why Sega was so keen to keep its new take on Sonic’s character a secret. Despite some promising moments, Sonic Unleashed collapses under the weight of its flaws.- Play UK

Really nothing more than a fun concept that isn't anything other than a reasonably impressive novelty. [Issue#204, p.90]- Play UK

It’s clear what has happened here, Pandemic was chosen to make a Lord Of The Rings Dynasty Warriors game, but it messed it up even more than if Koei had handled it itself. It’s best you leave this well alone.- Play UK

While it's not impossible to see why this series is so popular, each iteration fails to differentiate itself enough, and its poor gameplay, woeful design and awful sound repeatedly fails to impress. [Issue#176, p.92]- Play UK

It's not a particularly fun game, but it does manage to capture the essence of the series pretty well, and has a couple of clever ideas that do make it enjoyable enough to play. [Issue#164, p.93]- Play UK

Climax was really onto something here. If it only decided to sway a little from the constant arena-like battles and introduced some more exploration and puzzle-solving, with much more downtime, it could have been one of the great PS2 action games. [Issue #150, p.66]- Play UK

Lots of stealth sections (too awkward), lots of puzzles (too hard), lots of fighting (too weird), lots of cutscenes (too many.) [Issue 141, p.97]- Play UK

The lack of any multiplayer at all is criminal, and the price tag is far too steep. [Issue#165, p.87]- Play UK

This is as impressive as a crippled chimp, and its heavy-handed gameplay is ruthlessly boring. [Issue#156, p.80]- Play UK

Not terrible, but it's pretty boring and short. [Issue#188, p.83]- Play UK

It’s so well-presented that you’ll want to like it, but there’s no disguising the fact that this is one of the most annoying games ever made. It’s impossible to find printable words to describe how much it upset us.- Play UK
