It's not a new Painkiller, but the constant carnage acts as a perfect stress reliever and it has a great variety of drastic antics, some of which, like the burning shovel-throwing kaiser zombies, make me all warm and fuzzy inside. The story is completely brain-dead, the hero's monologues worse than Vogon poetry, and the (painfully long) letters of the deceased soldiers that are read on the loading screens even worse, but these obstacles can be overcome if you are after pure, absurdly intensive action. The news of Riddick's comeback made my subwoofer purr with delight. The rough Vin Diesel adds a truckload of mood to this excellent and diverse game. And when I finally reclined in my armchair after five solid hours of action, I was in for a surprise - the end was not yet in sight! [May 2009]- Play (Poland)

This novel RTS in a slightly overdone but nevertheless interesting fantasy setting appeals with its fresh approach, especially to those among us who have a bit of a collecting bug. And who doesn't? [Apr 2009]- Play (Poland)

Finally, the ingenious inventor and his heroic dog made their way into the games industry. The result is a very pleasant, if a bit archaic adventure with quite decent puzzles. It is a real shame that the game is also rather short and so extravagantly priced. But it's splendid anyway. [May 2009]- Play (Poland)

It's not recommended for the beginners, who will likely get stuck very early on, but the C&C veterans will fall in love with it. It has new cool units, but the most delightful part is the mini campaign in which you get to play as the insane and hot Yuriko. [May 2009]- Play (Poland)

Fast-paced, beautiful, innovative, a bit crazy and with an interesting story to tell - an excellent real time strategy without the redundant economy. The vast array of modifications that can be applied to the basic units makes every single battle unique. At least for some time. [Apr 2009]- Play (Poland)

The new Total War combines the power of this benchmark series with a new wave of ideas. The presentation, if solid, is nothing revolutionary, and the sea warfare is unfortunately less-than-total, but the gameplay, atmosphere and the wide opportunities it offers are impressive. It has a few flaws that bar it from being a breakthrough, but one can hardly find an experience any more epic as strategy games go. Commanding units in the Third World War with your voice is more thrilling than any battles in the best rts games to date. [Apr 2009]- Play (Poland)

Real time strategy on a smallest scale or arcade RPG, Diablo style? New Dawn of War is both. And it's addictive. Continual battles with the enemy hordes reflect the epic WH40K spirit perfectly. [Mar/May 2009]- Play (Poland)

This solid shoot'em up valued by the extreme thrill seekers and fans of gore opens an entirely new chapter. So new, in fact, that the game had lost somewhere a few nuances coveted in the first rendition. [Mar 2009]- Play (Poland)

First time on the PC and it goes straight to the top. And not just because there was a dearth of stunt racers worthy of praise recently. This game is simply marvelous - an adrenaline-laden crash fest. [Feb 2009]- Play (Poland)

You either love this game or hate it - all depends on whether you manage to get a grip on the controls. Because deep down this is not a shooter or a platform game - it's a totally novel racer with an amazing atmosphere. You'll need all your confidence in the abilities of Faith to run some crazier routes. [Feb 2009]- Play (Poland)

The ruthless butchers of Stillwater are back to redefine evil in games. This gangster sim is as vile as possible, and I don't mean the way the game is made... perhaps with the exception of graphics. It's something for everyone who tried everything in games. Turns out there's a thing or two left. The atmosphere is great, a bit weird, a bit clownish - but the Liberty City remains far above. It feels like I'm playing an absurdly extended minigame, leaping a pit here, using a glove there, pushing a button from time to time and generally enjoying the movie-like experience. But if you don't find any of the aspects of it enjoyable, the whole puzzle falls apart and even Elika's charms won't save it. [Jan 2009]- Play (Poland)

This game is like a beautiful girl who stutters terribly and often wanders off topic - you want to be with her and talk to her, but sometimes the way she speaks drives you crazy. And even leaving the frame rate fiasco aside, the compulsory Windows Live and Rockstar Social Club login just to save your progress is an enormous nuisance. [Feb 2009]- Play (Poland)

Lady Archaeologist is in her top shape again. This time she's mostly interested in exploring the wonders of nature and she does it better that ever before. Pity that not everything is polished. But who will resist the temptation of putting his hands on - or rather into - the Thor's gloves that can rip the fabric of time and space? [Dec 2008]- Play (Poland)

This team still knows how to make the best coach simulator in the world. After hours they started to study the 3D graphics. So far their progress has been modest, but that's beside the point - what's much more important are the substantial improvements to the game making it more accessible. [Feb 2009]- Play (Poland)

Foaming at the mouth, with a mad glint in the eye and a trio of trusted friends watching your back - that's how it's played. And there's no stepping away from it. When the consensus was that there's hardly anything more to invent in the survival horror genre, Valve proved it wrong. No other game made me give the medikit to another player despite being hurt myself. [Jan 2009]- Play (Poland)

I might copy the takeaway message from the review of The Burning Crusade: the best game in the universe has been significantly improved. It's amazing what Blizzard managed to achieve in this expansion. [Jan 2009]- Play (Poland)

Ascaron team deserves a bow with a flourish for their creation: a beautiful, rich fantasy world. It also deserves a kick in the pants for spoiling the fun with lots of annoying bugs. But punishing the enemies using an electric guitar relieves the tension considerably. [Dec 2008]- Play (Poland)

Stalingrad, Berlin, Thompsons and Mausers... This timeworn, if eternal setting is explored yet again in even more epic rendition. This game has everything that is expected from such an distinguished series, but after Modern Warfare it's a step back not only in time. [Jan 2009]- Play (Poland)

Something new, something old, something borrowed and something rust-red. The Americans rebooted the old franchise and their mixture is strong. Numerous references to the roots of the genre and the previous parts don't get in the way of their efforts to rejuvenate the series. The game scares in a way that seems to tamper with what's in your head, a way that I consider superior. [Mar 2009]- Play (Poland)

The new Bond game isn't a jewel, but it's better than most games based on a movie franchise. You can fairly easily pull off the spectacular moves as seen in the film, the difficulty level is set so low as to let the casual players who just loved the movie enjoy the game too. Novel rules, bizarre units and a twisted design style carry this venerable series to the new heights of glory, previously unattainable. The special abilities that can markedly change the role that any unit plays on the battlefield add a layer of goodness to the whole experience. [Dec 2008]- Play (Poland)

It's the best iteration in many years, and certainly the most sophisticated. Even if the newfangled mouse control mode isn't to your liking, you'll find that the game has been strengthened at its core and raised to a new level of quality. [Oct 2008]- Play (Poland)

New and vastly improved targeting model allows now (at last!) to hit every pixel you see. The game isn't so hard as the first part, unless you have to fight alone - you'll be positively beaming with joy when you see your boys again. And losing every one of the team members hurts just as much as it should. [Oct 2008]- Play (Poland)
