Layers of Fear 2 is one of the best horror games on the Switch platform. While the amazing atmosphere, built by binaural audio and great graphics deliver a strong and immersive experience, gameplay and story could be much better. Yet all of the qualities this title builds, still shine strong, enough for any horror fan to truly enjoy an around 8 hours long ride.

While having an interesting premise, Hood: Outlaws & Legends offers an extremely mediocre and repetitive experience that leaves a lot to be desired.

Days Gone PC port is a good and much better day 1 experience than Horizon Zero Dawn was. However, HZD has one leg up on Days Gone – it is fun. This cookie-cutter zombie game offers little innovation or fun experiences except in set pieces and a couple of quests. You will be fighting the same zombies and burning nests throughout the game, but hey, it looks and works really nice on PC.

Building Have Feelings Too! is a game where charming looks, good presentation and the humoristic story is in a constant fight with average gameplay that doesn’t allow it to become something great.

Biomutant is an open-world RPG with a lot of interesting ideas that have already been done. This ambitious game was an interesting concept a few years ago, but bigger studios got there faster. The phenomenal character designer and the lush and beautiful world, and an interesting character concept do not help this game stand out. However, I have had a lot of fun playing it even though the combat had its issues.

Mysterious trilogy is a great intro to the Atelier world because not only does it get rid of the time limit but also gives you a more personal story and interesting characters to meet. The DX version that’s been ported also comes with a plethora of additional content that is worth exploring and getting the whole pack together.

If there is one title that feels like it beckons the start of the next-gen era, it is undoubtedly this game. Its flawless presentation and beautiful graphics may be polluted by a glitch or two along the way, but nonetheless, it is an amazing experience that just can't be recommended enough.

Returnal is a must-play and a first perfect true next-gen experience that utilizes all that Sony has marketed for its new console. A sci-fi third-person shooter that uses its roguelite attribute in combination with its time loop story that surprises with its originality and surpasses the expectations by far.

If you've wanted to try out a Monster Hunter game but were always discouraged by its complexity and systems, here's a title that might change your mind. With tweaked pacing and mechanics, Monster Hunter Rise feels more accessible than ever, yet it loses next to none of its complexity that the veterans of the series cherish so dearly. For newcomers and returning players, this is the title to rise above all others.

As a standalone title, Bravely Default II stands as a superb JRPG. But when it gets to be compared to the original, it sadly falls short. No matter how great its strengths are, they will always be remembered as being even greater before. Yet you should still not miss it if you are into the genre or if you loved the original, as it is a wonderful title no matter what you compare it to.

An overclocked, moustached package of nostalgic goodies and refreshing, innovative greatness. While 3D World aged amazingly, and with a bit of polish shines strong again, Bowser's Fury could be the greatest Super Mario game of all time... When a miserable number of technical imperfections and shorter length of a game are its only flaws, be sure that we are talking about an absolutely mind-blowing title that should be a direction the series takes from now on. An Odyssey we were promised long ago, has finally reached us.

This remaster does not do much except adding some controller support, but it does amazing work on the visual and audio segments and just for that it deserves to be in your library even if you still have the original.

RIDE 4 isn't the best entry in the series, but it fixes a lot of its past problems. The on-track action is amazing, and no matter what track you’re on or what time of day or conditions you’re racing in, you’re in for a fun time. It’s a challenging game, but in a good way, as it encourages you to get better and offers a wide variety of difficulty options to help you along the way.

Not all the fans may think New ‘n’ Tasty is a faithful representation of the original, but for the newcomers - it sure is a good starting point. While waiting for the Soulstorm, it's a great opportunity to play the Switch port of the 6 years old remake of the 23 years old game - on the go.

Fun and innovative fusion of Metroidvania and monster taming genre with the fast and surprisingly complex turn-based combat system. Coupled with a huge roster of acquirable monsters and over 20h of gameplay, it is well worth its asking price of only 20$.

Haven is a fun mixture of visual novel storytelling, walking simulator exploration and just a dash of action-adventure. The main focus is on the couple and their story of survival on an alien planet. With that in mind, it's not a game for everyone, but it is a fun adventure to take.

Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise is a decent game that can make a regular gamer move about and try to exercise. It does enough to get you going and make it interesting, but at the end of the day, it’s the will of the gamer that’s going to be needed for a regular and proper exercise.

Age of Calamity serves as a prequel to Breath of the Wild, which easily justifies dozens of over the top battles against hordes of enemies. It is fun to play and to watch, but as a prequel, it fails to properly deliver. Expectation: a cool and interesting story. Reality: a boring and uncreative one. The game is great fun, but where we all expected it to shine the most - it somehow managed to fail with zero excuses.

Fuser is a toy that wants to be a video game. The controls are not intuitive, the vision is limited, and the campaign is cringy to the core. I see that this game had its vision, but it fell through somewhere so they gave us a bunch of mixing options, some popular songs and slapped a steep price on it that is not worth the admission. I would much rather buy a real turntable than spend money on Fuser.

Star Wars: Squadrons is an incomplete but satisfactory experience for anybody who has to scratch that Rogue Squadron itch. It plays relatively safe and can provide a dozen fun hours, but is still pulled down by its lack of content and lacklustre support for controllers.

Serious Sam 4 is a nostalgia trip that takes us back to the “good-old-days” of gaming but presents itself in a modern environment. However, they are a bit too late, as the lack of innovation and obscure map design put this game way behind leaders as is currently Doom. The back-pedalling Sam is still there, but his quips and lovable character will ware out after the 10th wave of the same enemies.

A very strange mix of 90s hip-hop and alternate past anime style, Orangeblood delivers a short story filled with bad dialogues and uninventive UI. Yet a couple of very interesting battle mechanics and characters that despite all - will eventually get you to like them.
