There are no words to describe just how divine Breath of the Wild is. It’s easy to pinpoint its mortal weaknesses, but impossible to number all the strengths, this game represents a new definition of perfection. A simple, outstanding reminder of how simple ideas can overcome modern desires through the power of sheer effort and love.- PLAY! Zine

Though a really neat game, Super Mario Odyssey is an utterly underwhelming adventure for every long-term Super Mario fan in existence. Unless Cappy brainwashed you. In that case, you are a satisfied zombie customer now. No, seriously, only a zombie would find a healthy challenge in this pleasant but disappointingly easy Super Mario Walk-in-the-park. Sorry - Odyssey.- PLAY! Zine

Elden Ring is a masterclass in world design. It improves almost all of the bases of FromSoftware’s previous titles and adds upon them many new ones, with its verticality, astonishing world and great combat and story. It is a penultimate soulslike title, and one that will be surely played and remembered for years to come, putting a high bar for action RPGs and firmly sitting as one of the best video games ever.- PLAY! Despite a few serious flaws that would be a huge drawback in most other scenarios, Tears of the Kingdom manages to throw so much at you that you can't help but grab the one thing you love the most. Whether you are into experimenting or defying ancient evil with little to no odds, this is a game that overshadows its predecessor so much that we'll hardly ever look back. Yet, hope for the future must come in the shape of something different since the potential of what we have here seems like it has reached the end of the cloud.- PLAY! Zine

When Sony pulls off Nintendo and does it so remarkably well, it’s one of those times you are glad to still be gaming. Astro Bot is one of the most charming and immersive experiences of pure interactive innocence we have had the chance to play in recent years. Whether you’re a 3D platform fan or you’re just yearning for the feeling you had when playing video games for the first time, Astro Bot has you covered.- PLAY! Zine

God of War is the fourth "main" game in the franchise, but in so many aspects is also a first and by far a better game than the rest of them. Good story, great gameplay and fantastic voice acting make GoW something really special.- PLAY! Zine

Shadow of the Erdtree is probably the best DLC for any video game ever made. It is hindered by the lackluster optimization of its PC port, but it offers such an enormous amount of content and probably the best world design we have seen so far, not only from From Software but gaming in general. It provides nerve-wracking bosses and stellar enemy and gameplay mechanics.- PLAY! Zine

Metroid Prime Remastered is not only an amazing upgrade to the original game but also one of the nicest-looking titles on the Switch platform. An experience that not only aged greatly when it comes to its gameplay but also one that shines with new life through a modernized control scheme. If you ever wanted to play a Metroid Prime game, there is no doubt that this is its definitive edition.- PLAY! Zine

It’s God of War 2018, only bigger, prettier, more detailed, more open, more complete and much more intense. It’s more of everything from the sequel that both revived and killed the old franchise at the same time. If you loved the new God of War, this game has nothing but means to blow you away this time around.- PLAY! Zine

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.- PLAY! Zine

God of War was the best game of the previous generation and now it’s available on the PC with little enhancements, but none of them is needed. This is a good PC port with no issues and a wide variety of graphical choices. With the inclusion of Nvidia DLSS, you will not be sacrificing visual fidelity for the framerate and vice versa. God of War is a game that will always have my recommendation on any gaming device it’s available on.- PLAY! Zine

If you compare it to the previous installments you might feel disappointed. If you compare it to the rest of the gaming industry, then you’ll experience the ingenious excellence. The mixed feelings between an unfinished story and premium gameplay fail to ruin the greatness of what The Phantom Pain really is. But you won’t be able to shake off the regret of great not being even greater.- PLAY! Zine

Supergiant Games has done it again. They have managed to perfectly mix amazing storytelling and great action to create another compelling title. It’s been so long since I’ve played the original, but I still can’t believe it was this good way back then. An amazing atmosphere, extremely fun combat, locations brimming with charm and the very essence of the survival horror genre make this one of the best Resident Evils ever created. Regardless of the direction the franchise took with this sequel, there’s really plenty to enjoy here.- PLAY! Zine

If you're a fan of action adventures, you owe it to yourself to at least borrow a copy of Uncharted 4 and experience it first-hand. When it comes to games, you’ll rarely find yourself saying: ‘’Let your expectations run wild, for they will surely be met with excellence’’. Rebirth feels more like a spectacular conclusion than a midway point of a trilogy. Bursting with content, rare are the moments where you won’t feel the utmost joy. It is easily one of the best Final Fantasy games ever conceived and one of the greatest titles this genre has to offer. A true masterpiece that makes us excited for what the series will have to offer next.- PLAY! Zine
