American Sk8land is a better game, but only marginally so it isn't really worth the price of admission unless you're a hardcore Tony Hawk fan.

The PSP version of the game very accurately keeps up with the console versions of the game. While some sacrifices were made to make the game work on PSP, overall the developers did an admirable job.

The game’s single-player mode is fantastic, effectively using the Doom 3 engine to make a game of its own. It really showcases the engine well and shows its versatility.
