A fun if shallow game.

The gameplay is easy to pick up while the various challenges and conditions will test advanced players.

Although the naval battles are by far more exciting, the sidescrolling stuff is still fun. If you're interested in the film, the game is worth a pickup.

A solid approach to the Diablo formula. The game gives you a lot of flexibility with regards to your character, it lets you play online if you want, and you can create your own maps and quests. Add to this a stellar presentation and it’s hard to fault the game.

The biggest knock against the game is the length. The single-player game is only seven hours long. You’re able to unlock movies and outfits, which are fun, but may not be worth a play through.

Basically, all of the micromanagement parts of the game will make fans gush with excitement.

Liberty City Stories has a number of mishaps and annoyances, some of them which are borderline frustration. On the PlayStation Portable this was forgiven because GTA: LCS brought a console-like Grand Theft Auto experience to the handheld. These problems are less excusable on the PS2.

Visually and aurally, Big Brain Academy is just what you would expect. The game’s looks are colorful and welcoming but at the end of the day, you’re playing simple minigames. Likewise, the audio is equally simple yet charming.

Stacked with Daniel Negreanu succeeds largely because it comes very close to recreating an actual game of poker. The presentation could have used some fine-tuning but the interface is solid enough. Although not perfect, Stacked is about as close as you’re going to get to a real game of Texas hold’em on your PlayStation 2.

Hitman: Blood Money doesn’t radically change the Hitman formula but it does provide enough wrinkles and nuances to keep the solid gameplay fresh. It’s quite satisfying to orchestrate a giant surprise to fall on an unsuspecting target.

Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis shows that there is room for focused, small games that do one thing very well. The game is very exciting and will soon have you at the edge of your chair. The game is definitely recommended even if you only have a small interest in it.
