While you wouldn't call it epic, Kirby's Epic Yarn is a welcome addition in the current, and possibly continuing, dearth of quality Wii titles.

The Sims 3 provides gamers with a title that is more evolved and still thoroughly as addictive as its predecessors, giving gamers a greater sense of freedom and an overall refined experience.

Kratos' road to revenge is a well-worn path, and while Ghost of Sparta doesn't have a whole lot new to offer, it is a tight, fun and great-looking adventure for the PSP.

Trials HD is perfectly suited to Xbox Live Arcade. It's extremely simple to pick up and play, has a span of difficulty catering to both casual gamers and the hardcore, and delivers a consistently and thoroughly entertaining experience.

Stunning use of sprites on both the fighters and the backgrounds. Excellent character design combined with some visually appealing backgrounds make GGX2:Reload one of the best looking 2D games ever.

While losing some of the scope and ambition of the first game, Crysis 2 is still a phenomenal title which rewards the inventive player and takes FPS into a different direction for the better.

The game offers around 20 hours of play for the first time through, with several sidequests. Unfortunately, the mediocre story doesn’t have enough impact to keep players enthralled for the full playthrough, and it suffers from a linear, generic world-home-world structure.

For the PC, Modern Warfare 2 is a solid shooter with an excellent but very short campaign, and an improved online multiplayer system hurt by the new matchmaking setups.

A game that you must play at all costs.

Has everything that made the original such a great game, and so much more. It's a proper visual update of one of the most important fighting games ever made, with plenty of new modes, features and a well functioning online mode.

The only real downside to this enjoyable game is that it failed to optimise on what it had available to it.

With more varied puzzles, top-notch graphics and a wonderful storyline, Professor Layton and The Lost Future is a game that a true gentleman or lady shouldn't pass up.

Truly original games are hard to come by so when something this good comes along it should be grabbed with both hands. We Love Katamari, we really do.
