Balatro is one of the best examples of the growing number of deck building games in recent years. With the freedom it offers, the joy of new strategies and much more, it's a royal flush.

Despite being in development for so many years, Skull & Bones offers fewer gameplay mechanics than the naval battles of past Assassin's Creed games. Yes, it does what it claims to do, but the turbulent development process unfortunately prevents it from getting any sympathy votes.

The Thaumaturge is a role-playing game that tries to go out of the ordinary with its intriguing plot, well-written dialogues, original characters and successful voiceovers. Travelling to 1905 Warsaw and experiencing the harsh conditions of that period first-hand adds a unique atmosphere to the game. However, the lack of enemy diversity, the weak detective mechanics, the simplicity of the side quests and some technical problems make it difficult to recommend it to those who are not hardcore fans of the genre.

It's great to see a dying franchise back on its feet, both with its beloved classic gameplay and new mechanics that feel fresh. One of the best games in the series.

There is a new contender for the "which Final Fantasy game is the best?" debates now. But if you ask me "which is the best Final Fantasy VII?", them we have a clear winner.

Berserk Boy manages to blend the spirit of retro platformers with modern yet familiar mechanics. You won't realize how you spent 6-8 hours with its high octane music and action sequences.

Although it has a little too much XCOM influences, we have a turn-based strategy in our hands that gives a good World War II atmosphere. It has some shortcomings in some points, but this does not change the fact that Classified France '44 is a good game. Anyone who likes XCOM will find something to enjoy.

Nintendo brought back the 20-year-old game, but forgot to include the appropriate content for the price. Couch Co-Op is fun to play, but you can buy an ox for this money, Nintendo.

Getting used to its well thought out progression systems might take a little too long due to its user interface but once you do it, it’s hard to stop playing Pacific Drive.

Playing the original, which still holds up well, with today's graphic standards probably didn't even occur to many of us, but it felt nice to be reunited with the brothers.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is a blessing for fans of the series. It not only presents the first three games of Lara Croft with all their additional packages, renewed graphics and controls, but also remains extremely faithful to the original. But this 'loyalty' may alienate some of the new generation of players.

Don't Nod's best work yet. The impressive story, the immersive period atmosphere, the well-written characters and stories, and the smooth and enjoyable action are blended together, and it works very well.

Every movement, every sound effect and every camera angle captures perfectly these wild celebration of the human body. The Lost Crown isn't your typical Prince of Persia game. But it's the first big surprise of this year with its smooth gameplay, challenging enemies and glorious bosses. Ubisoft has not only returned the series to its roots, but also made one of the best metroidvania games ever made. Prince would have been worthy of such a return.

Last Train Home is an enjoyable and deep game that manages to be innovative by blending two different genres very successfully and putting a lot of different factors on it. It is a bit difficult to get used to, and even more difficult to learn all the dynamics and use them actively in the game. But once this threshold is crossed, an unforgettable strategy experience awaits you.
