Traffic dodge games usually feel pretty generic as the majority do nothing to innovate or enhance the genre in any way. Fortunately, there are a few gems out there like Hit N'Run that take a chance and do something a little different.- No DPad

At first glance it looks like just another copycat, but dig a little deeper and you will find a complex game with much to offer.- No DPad

Seamlessly combining a strategic RPG, a puzzle and a turn based strategy game into one was not an easy task, but Axion Logic appears to have done just that with chronoSgear.- No DPad

Dead Space isn't a game that particularly stood out and isn't something that's a no-brainer Must Have in my eyes. The production values are high, and EA did a really nice job with this one. I just wasn't exactly addicted to it, and it never really grasped me from the start. But the playing atmosphere and graphics are phenomenal, and the game as a whole is quite professional.- No DPad

An extremely fun game. I would go right on ahead and give it that coveted Must Have award, but there are those small, nitpicky annoyances in there that prevent me from doing so.- No DPad

9mm includes some improved voice-acting, great online multiplayer, an interesting storyline, and an overall action-packed adventure that is sure to entice third-person shooter fans. Just note that the game isn't for everyone, and I personally thought the amount of language in this game was really unnecessary.- No DPad

The Blocks Cometh is an easy recommendation, both to new players as well as to those who previously bought the knock-off. The game is attractive, challenging and rewarding, and nails that just-one-more-time addictiveness factor that makes games easy to pick up and hard to put down.- No DPad

Can Knockdown 2 does everything a casual game should do: universal, GameCenter achievements, great graphics, and a simple gameplay mechanic. But, it does get old quickly, and there are only 12 achievements for you to work with.- No DPad

On the surface, Heavy Gunner appears to be a shallow shooter, with the dual-thumb cannons only a gimmick. Taking the plunge beyond that surface, however, reveals the game to be quite deep, full of choices and with great replay value.- No DPad

All things considered, Fight Night Champion is well worth your time and money, provided that you're willing to adjust to the learning curve and you're looking for a fighting game that rewards persistence and technique over lightning-fast blitzkrieg victories and ridiculous special moves.- No DPad

Dungeon Defenders has potential, and it's a really fun game; there's absolutely no doubt about that. But I would love to see an improved interface and controls-mind you, they're not bad, but not good either-along with some better graphics.- No DPad

Fast and Furious Adrenaline is a competent racing game; it'll provide you with a few hours of high-speed thrills along with some sweet cars. There are some issues with it including the need to connect to Facebook to access the online multiplayer, but all in all, I thought it was a good racer.- No DPad

Overall, despite some minor gripes that can be fixed with updates such as deathmatch multiplayer, or lock-on controls, Star Batallion is a great flight-sim package that is very arcade-like in execution at times, but offers solid twitch-gameplay and challenge, with great presentation and graphics.- No DPad

Fastar! is not what most would expect of an Action RPG, nor is it what most would expect from Kooistra having played his previous app store releases - admittedly, the game left me scratching my head at first and it took me several plays to warm to it. Set aside such expectations, however, and Fastar reveals itself to be an excellent casual action game, well worth the paltry price of admission.- No DPad
