Aqua Moto Racing 2 didn't strike me as a breakthrough racing experience, but the balance of the game itself really impressed.- No DPad

The single best platformer on the iPhone. If you want a better game, you'll have to lay hands on a Nintendo DS to play New Super Mario Bros. And even then, Giana Sisters stacks up for its fantastic art direction, unique creature designs and the fact that the entire game world isn't the product of a bizarre acid trip.- No DPad

As a sequel, Blue Defense: Second Wave captures everything that was great about the first game, refines it, builds upon it, ups the ante manifold.- No DPad

Tiny Wings is a good game. But it's extremely raw when it comes to options such as being able to listen to your own music, and it also left out GameCenter on its initial launch. The gameplay is addictive, though, and the artwork isn't too shabby.- No DPad

The PvP mode is a nice addition to the game though, and I must say that it is one of the most interesting features I've seen in an RPG.- No DPad

Overlooking the fact that the game doesn't make any sense and is, at times, utterly ridiculous, Air Attack is a superb shooter.- No DPad

On one hand, it's beautiful, and the swipe controls work great. It's a bargain at $0.99 including the fact that it's universal, and the game does have its shining moments. Then there's the other hand, which includes the fact that it doesn't have GameCenter achievements, has terrible tilt controls, and that the time constraint does bother at times.- No DPad

While the lack of music definitely does nothing to enhance the game, there is already so much high quality content that Dinosaur Slayer is without a doubt a must have for its magnificent art style and surprisingly deep and enjoyable combat system.- No DPad

The verdict: Land-A Panda is quite average. But the tantalizing price point and the cute graphics seem to balance out the average gameplay, along with the ton of content involved.- No DPad

I had a few moments of fun with it, and it definitely shows the progress Namco has taken on the iPhone. And above all else, I'm more than glad to see only one DLC item in there; one that is reasonably priced and makes sense.- No DPad
