Monark has good ideas. However, it falls short in what it tries to achieve. This is a niche JRPG that, while it can be entertaining, has other shortcomings that prevent us from recommending it to everyone. Still, hardcore fans of the genre will find something to enjoy here.

Atelier Sophie 2 is a game that retains the conventions of the franchise, but improves on them a little. With exquisite visuals, more features such as no loading screens when entering battle, and a decent story, this is another Japanese RPG that fans of the series will love, but may not sit well with newcomers.

The amalgamation of ways of trying to monetise and squeeze Chocobo GP tears to shreds a game that can be fun, but fails to deliver a complete experience that has to be rebuilt on the back of cash.

Triangle Strategy will make you experience a great story with a very strategic game system that will remind you of the classics of the genre. Its gameplay could use some tweaking, but thanks to its story, the game will grab you from the very first moment.

A warm fairy tale with wonderful audio-visual aspects, but little gameplay innovation. If you are looking for a short adventure that allows you to experience a good turn-based RPG experience without having to invest too much time in it, this game is a very good option for that.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a good fighting game aimed at fans of Persona 3 and Persona 4 who were eager to meet their charismatic casts again in a new adventure. It has plenty of game modes and extras, but it's still a niche release with only a few additions and some things to polish up.

Although its characters are charismatic and its gameplay can be entertaining, aspects of Rune Factory 5 such as its technical aspect or its lack of visual grace make us realise that we are in front of a title mainly focused on the fans of the series that are looking forward for a new adventure in the town of Rigbarth.

Kirby has had its first firm step into three-dimensional platform adventures with The Forgotten Land. It delivers remarkably well on everything it sets out to do, although it also has room for improvement in all of its areas.

It combines exploration, platforming, puzzles, impressive combat and gameplay as simple as it is addictive. Spice it up with Peruvian folklore and add a dash of metroidvania, a bit of soulslike and stunning artwork.

LEGO Star Wars on Nintendo Switch is the final compilation of the Skywalker story with all its nine episodes, humorously and faithfully depicted. An entertaining action adventure all around.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition is almost the best possible rebirth for a Japanese RPG classic in Europe. Although it has its flaws, such as frame drops at times, its complex plot and original mechanics make it an incredible game for lovers of the genre.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is an unmissable game in the Nintendo Switch games lineup. Although it does not introduce new content in this version, the game is worth just for the fact of being able to be played on handheld mode. An unrepeatable gem that you have to try if you like science fiction stories or the adventure genre.
