The game could stand to be fleshed out in the areas of multiplayer and including something for single players to do after the campaign is through, but what Battalion Wars includes out of the box is still quite fun to play.- Nintendojo

It’s polished and endearing, with lots of action, varied gameplay, and a nice tale wrapped up in a cool role-playing package. Those players looking for a completely different approach to the genre should give this game a serious look.- Nintendojo

Although it can be tough to get into, this is actually a pretty decent conversion of a game that really shouldn't play this well on a Game Boy system.- Nintendojo

The character design in Castlevania brought way to a whole new viewpoint in video games. The level design is easily one of the best, bringing a deep sense of platforming to the action. After over 15 years, the game still has a unique look.- Nintendojo

It's tough to go up against Tetrisphere but Ocean managed to do quite a nice job of dealing with the puzzle concept. Great work.- Nintendojo

It's brief by today's standards -- finishing at 100% won't take a seasoned gamer longer than 15 hours -- but it's so addictive that you're likely to start a new game as soon as you've finished.- Nintendojo

Newcomers to the series will be well-treated if jumping into the series at this game, and long time fans will also be immensely satisfied, left only with a wonder of who will headline the next sequel that cannot come too soon.- Nintendojo

Sure F-Zero X has 30 tracks and a random track generator, but it is lacking one thing that Wipeout has: variation. Wipeout has more variety and in some cases, better track design. All in all, Wipeout 64 offers a good balance of racing and action.- Nintendojo

And as with other LEGO titles, those deficiencies don’t keep LEGO Battles from being an engaging, satisfying RTS experience, especially for younger players or those looking for lighter fare. If that’s your angle, then this game is a solid buy.- Nintendojo

One of the most unique puzzle designs to come along in a while. Whether you like your thinking games slow and strategic or fast and chaotic, you'll find something to enjoy with this one.- Nintendojo

While the game offers little to strive for in terms of hidden content or special endings, Clash of Ninja is worthy of continued play in and of itself.- Nintendojo

You only get two play modes with this game, friendly and tournament, and that just isn’t enough...Having said all that, this game kicks its predecessor in the ass. It looks better, plays better, sounds better and damnit, it just feels right.- Nintendojo

As a fan of brawlers and Star Wars, I loved this game. The space combat offers a bit of variety to keep the casual gamer interested. The brawling portions are top notch, so fans of Golden Axe, the Turtles series, and the X-Men arcade game will be very pleased with the action in this title, especially if you’re a Star Wars fan.- Nintendojo

This is definitely one of the best racers available for the Game Boy Advance, and includes enough unlockable content to challenge some console games.- Nintendojo

Since it would be considered a "casual" game in the first place, it doesn't offer a high-end graphics experience and isn't heavy on the presentation, but with multiplayer support and a second quest, Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of the Spooky Manor is a graphic adventure with a lot to offer.- Nintendojo

Where most titles stress the importance in challenge in completing a level, Yoshi's Story emphasizes challenge in exploration--something rarely done in two-dimensional games. While Yoshi's Story isn't Yoshi's Island II, it is another shining example of simple, unadulterated entertainment in gaming.- Nintendojo

Even for non-Pokémon fanatics, this game is definitely worth a look-- if only for the strange and addictive experience of an unfolding photo-safari on a videogame console.- Nintendojo

For what it’s worth, Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon is the best Square-Enix game for a Nintendo home console since Final Fantasy VI (called Final Fantasy III at the time) hit SNES in the mid-90s.- Nintendojo

To be honest, if you’ve already own last year’s game, there isn’t that much of a point to check this game out. Why? Lockout. There won’t even be a season this year. There just aren’t enough improvements here to ensure your interest.- Nintendojo

Easily the greatest party game on the market today. While that isn’t saying a whole lot since anything that isn’t Mario Party is usually schlock and unworthy of anything but the bargain bin, it still proves that there’s plenty of spunk within the series.- Nintendojo
