Because it is so linear you may not play it over and over, but the unique nature of the game and the humor may get you to give it another go.

Sims fans will find the game very inviting, but will also find that other than going to various locations, seeing new items to buy, and experiencing the wild animations, this game is definitely not an overhaul of the series. Yet with the new unlockables, it is hard to resist this delicious title.

It plays wonderfully, is immensely fun, and is stuffed with ’90s arcade fun. There are even a couple of extra minigames to fool around with, too, when not engaging in local or online multiplayer. The single-player mode might be a bit weak, but that should in no way deter anyone from buying Windjammers. It’s yet another excellent addition to the Switch library!

Despite the fairly deep single-player mode, the fact remains that in some ways, this title isn't as deep as its companion game "Mario Golf: Advance Tour."

For portable golf, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 has it where it counts. Its flaws should encourage a cautious purchase, but in many respects, the robust multiplayer makes up for it.

It's tough to go up against Tetrisphere but Ocean managed to do quite a nice job of dealing with the puzzle concept. Great work.

Yet another worthy Ace Attorney successor. It’s ultimately not the series at its highest peak, but it’s hardly the nadir, and that it continues to feel this fresh in light of its flaws already has me hungry for the next turnabout. No objections here, Your Honor.

Most importantly, Eurocom nails the Bond look and feel, letting Wii owners step into the shoes of the secret agent.

Kirby is over far too quick, but it's a decent romp while it lasts, and one that I wouldn't mind playing through again.

MadWorld is not quite the godsend, super-mature hardcore title some gamers were hoping for; it has a few major flaws but still manages to out-rank most of the competition with ease.

As a party game, Puyo Puyo Tetris provides an excellent use for Switch’s detachable controllers. Propping a Switch up with its stand and passing a Joy-Con to a buddy is fun, and with so many modes to choose from you’ll likely be playing for a long time. The HD Rumble also felt very satisfying (though nothing about the game is impacted by it — it’s just some solid feedback). Switch’s library is growing very slowly, but perhaps if the software on offer continues to put quality over quantity it won’t be such a bad thing. I loved Puyo Puyo Tetris and I genuinely wonder how either franchise will be able to carry on without the other. It’s so much fun to have both on a single cartridge that I hope we’re able to experience another installment of Puyo Puyo Tetris one day. In the meantime, be sure to get hold of a copy of this wonderful game for your Switch. Especially if you’re fortunate enough to snag a copy that comes with keychains like I did!

The variety of game modes is there, the cool Pokemon license is there, the excellent effort of NST is there, but the core of the game-- the gameplay-- just doesn't have that certain piece of magic and accessibility that separates the Tetrises from the wannabes.

It's not just intuitive to wave your hands around to play football, but it's also fun. Throwing the ball and seeing the motion echoed on-screen can give a huge sense of empowerment.

If it weren't for the slow start and zooming-out annoyance, the game would be close to perfect. As it stands, this stacks up with the best of WiiWare, providing a killer audio/visual presentation and pleasurably obsessive good time.

Skyward Sword HD is a brilliantly designed game, full of dungeons packed with clever puzzles, numerous plot elements that serve to enrich the franchise’s lore, and a control scheme that is as refreshing now as it was in 2010. This is a must-have for Switch owners on a very long list of must-have games—don’t let that stop you from rushing out to try Skyward Sword HD today.

Sonic 4, on the other hand, should have had a different title, like Sonic the Hedgehog: Re 1&2, because that is what the game feels like. The game may make gamers question if Sonic Team can make a proper, new Sonic title, instead of throwing together elements from over ten years ago and expecting us to be satisfied.

While its flashy new successor doesn’t innovate quite like the original did, it does in fact make leaps and bounds above its predecessor through improved gameplay mechanics, fantastic new features, and a new coat of polish in the audio and visual departments.

I find myself extremely impressed by RMX. It takes everything about Neo and improves upon it, while also adding in new features and tweaks that make it suitable for both play at home and on the go. As a launch title, RMX boasts a level of thoughtfulness and polish that isn’t often seen until well into a console’s life cycle. I can’t recommend enough that players go and download this game; it’s a gorgeous nod to the sci-fi racers of old while still establishing its own identity. I can’t wait to see what Shin’en does next on Switch!

Pokémon Leaf Green and Fire Red are better games than "Ruby" and "Sapphire." Their balance, style, and structure were the original benchmark and they remain that way.
