Stella Glow is a good strategy game for the 3DS that I can easily recommend for those whose enjoy the genre or are fans of the game’s developer. However, it is far from a perfect experience.

In the end, Mercenaries Saga 2: Order of the Silver Eagle is a good Tactical RPG that you can pick up for a low price.

The puzzles may get too complex at times, but Human Resource Machine is a game anyone with an interest in challenging puzzlers should play.

Truly. It’s an incredibly basic game with little to any of it.

Though Yo-Kai Watch does borrow a lot from the Pokemon franchise, the game does strike out a spot for itself in the monster-collecting market. The game is still really fun to play, and the feeling of collecting and discovering new Yo-Kai is exhilarating.

All in all, I had a decent time with Slender: The Arrival. It won’t go down as one of my favorite horror games, but the experience was a fun one while it lasted.

Whispering Willows is by no means a masterpiece, but it is a beautiful world and an engaging atmosphere that unfortunately is wrapped in undeveloped gameplay and a not very compelling story.

In the end, Race the Sun is definitely a title that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the infinite-runner genre. Because its gameplay-style deviates from the ‘norm’, it makes it feel fresh and new, which of course is a good thing.

If you’re looking for some fun and hectic gaming moments with your friends then Triforce Heroes along with its clever puzzles, fun visuals and beautiful soundtrack is sure to please. For those interested in the game because of its Zelda association just be prepared for a less fulfilling experience than you’re used to.

With all this said, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is easily one of my favorite Wii U games to date. It feels like an old-school horror game but has the modern twists such as GamePad use and HD graphics to make it stand out in the gaming world today.

Overall, Yoshi’s Woolly World is a “Nintendo” game at its finest. The game not only draws in gamers with a captivating art-style and excellent soundtrack, but it also keeps them engaged with spectacular and diverse gameplay elements. Fortunately, Yoshi’s Woolly World packs in a wealth of options too, which accommodate new players as well as Nintendo veterans alike.

Freedom Planet may have started out as an attempt to recreate Sonic, but it stands on its own as a great platformer.

Ultimately, whether you will enjoy Voxel Maker will come down to whether you like making cool artwork. The game offers a way to let you easily craft nifty 3D models and scenes. There’s nothing really noteworthy or great about it, but if you want to make some retro-style 3D art and share it on Miiverse, and think that is worth five bucks, then Voxel Maker is a place to do just that.

The visuals may not win over the most hardcore gamers, but the team at FuRyu definitely made up for this by mixing complex game play with a musical mood that matches it.

I can recommend My Style Studio: Notebook as a nice drawing tool for younger audiences or just for those looking for something easy to use, but those who are drawing enthusiasts or artists may prefer something else. Using it to create notes can be effective for kids, but an average mobile phone may be a better option for adults. And if you seek to create flipbook animations, this is most certainly not your game.

With great gameplay, great visuals, and great music, it’s hard not to suggest The Swindle; just keep in mind that it has got some issues, and it is not for the faint of heart.

Alone or with friends, Extreme Exorcism is a fun game with a lot of content, great soundtrack and solid controls. If playing with friends is a big deal to you, this is not a title you can avoid adding to your collection.

In conclusion, Crab Cakes Rescue is a terrible port of a mediocre game flooded with flaws that doesn’t even feel like a finished product, and at $7.99 this title is also overpriced.

Overall, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer proves to be a substantial disappointment for the franchise. Yes, the game does make large strides in the designing element of Animal Crossing, but it fails to create any sort of experience that is even remotely engaging or captivating.

It’s not a bad game by any means, and I think some fans of both dark art and horror will enjoy this game much more than I did, but for me, I have to hark back to that abstract art analogy I used earlier.

Q.U.B.E is by no means a bad game, just a flawed one. It has some neat ideas and a good design that shoots for the stars, however the overall execution falls short and feels more like a shot to the moon.

In the end, Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria doesn’t add nothing new to the genre but as a modern entry, it nails the retro experience despite its flaws and some archaic choices: it is truly a love letter to the golden era of JRPG games.

For fans of Hatsune Miku, this isn’t the strongest entry in the entire series, but it seems like a good purchase if you can get over only around half of the songs being new. For everyone else, Project Mirai DX is a great way to start digging into Hatsune Miku, and is a worthwhile addition to your 3DS library for any rhythm game fans.

LBX: Little Battlers Experience has an excellent core, I just wish that Level-5 swapped out a few of the materials to make the game truly worth owning.
