Does a lot of things right, but sadly it is mainly for the purest of pure hardcore gamers, as Shattered Soldier’s steep learning curve and INCREDIBLY difficult gameplay, this probably will not please a mainstream gamer too much.- netjak

I love the game and in the same breath hate it. One minute I want to cuddle up with the gamedisk on my pillow, and the next minute want to take it to practice skeet.- netjak

A good game to rent for a rainy weekend; you’ll certainly get $5 of fun out of the game, and you should be done with it one way or the other by the time it needs to go back.- netjak

It's difficult to find a copy, but just as well. This game was forgotten by many, but it deserves all of it.- netjak

The designers didn’t make the modifications to make this more than an N64 game with a different controller, and the changes that were made hurt the game rather than help it, for the most part.- netjak

More RPGs could take a good lesson from the Wild Arms franchise, with the focus being on fun experiences while playing, instead of storylines that take up way too much brain power and taking the focus off of the gameplay.- netjak

It does give you the closest thing you can get to playing the card game without sucking your bank account dry, and the card game really doesn't need much added to it in order to be fun.- netjak

I came away with a very “been there, done that” feeling after completion, and there are several titles which execute this general style more effectively.- netjak

I have played this game online for months on end and it's probably the best $20 that I have spent on a Live title.- netjak

The game is lightning fast, smoother than silk and chugs along like a Maserati at 60 frames per second. Yipes, was all I could say the first hour of play.- netjak

If you like the cel shading technique, prepare to be literally blown away...TDK does a splendid job with the color schemes, and most of the little effects compliment the main graphics perfectly.- netjak

One fantastic looking game, and it plays like a dream. The controls are logical and simple, but at the same time can be very complex.- netjak

The characters, levels, and game modes are entertaining enough, and it's got just the right sense of humor. I really can't recommend it for solo players, as most of it's solo modes are aimed towards unlocking multiplayer content.- netjak

Rent for you loners, buy for you fighter-lovers, either way, you should have a really good time.- netjak

It is visually impressive, has some decent audio features, and some great ideas. Too bad the crystal system became a pain and the game was so short.- netjak

To be dead honest with you all, I can’t think of a single major flaw in this game.- netjak

Does Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 deliver an exciting, high-octane console racing experience? Yes, if you own a PS2.- netjak

Speaking of seeing, there are plenty of nice visuals in Hitman 2. The intro looks very nice on my GeForce 3, the fields, the tomatoes, all the cutscenes, when they aren't completely dark, look fabulous.- netjak

The game is fun the first time through, all though damn frustrating at times.- netjak

The stealth portions offer up the really tense moments of this game.- netjak

Sneaking around the camp is a joke. Toni Kukoc has more defensive skill than all these Germans put together...if it weren't for "Tsunami 2265" putting forth such a solidly bad performance, this would be my pick for Worst Game of the Year.- netjak

The game is drop dead gorgeous...As far as the gameplay is concerned, the overall physics are still the best in the industry.- netjak

I daresay that NHL 2003 is a step down from last year’s installment in terms of fun and playability. All told, while it might be comparing apples and oranges to a degree, I enjoyed playing the PC version of NHL 2002 much more.- netjak

The create a driver mode is well executed, and is yet another way in which you can expand the replay value. The best NASCAR game available on the PS2, and one of the best racing games overall.- netjak

A fine piece of work, but a little hastily put together...Due to the lack of a random map generator and due to the limited replay value of the maps, the most you can get from the expansion is a week of playing.- netjak

About as flat, mediocre, and average as a game can be. Underachieves throughout.- netjak

I enjoyed it more than the original, and for $19.99 it's a total steal for an expansion.- netjak

I'd recommend renting it, or at least trying it out to make sure you can adapt to the control scheme. If you can, then by all means, give this a whirl.- netjak

Enough fun to want to play through multiple times, and would be perfect if only there was more of it.- netjak
