Do not let the cartoon-like presentation fool you; Alien Hominid will be unforgiving and merciless to the unassuming gamer. The level of challenge present will either have you throwing controllers in disgust or frothing at the mouth for more.

An exciting gaming experience, its versatility makes it accessible to a variety of gamers, and it possesses dynamic game play that eliminates the monotony plaguing so many single-player games.

Even an excellent video game would be presumed somewhat bold to rashly take up the moniker of "GoldenEye'. But Rogue Agent actually has the flagrant hubris to attempt to fool us into believing it's fit to wash the feet of the original title. Predictably, it falls some way short of not only the name GoldenEye, but it's also a largely forgettable shooter-at best.

An obvious attempt to cash in on that nostalgia; does this pseudo-sequel live up to the legacy of the original? Sort of, but it doesn't set any new standards.

Without a doubt, the Nintendo DS is an amazing new piece of hardware. It is just a shame that Nintendo has a port for their launch game. Plus, the game does not even use some of the system’s specialties like the microphone.

Not only addresses the problems of the previous game, but also makes extra advancements in the gameplay. But even those advancements have their problems, mainly the maps and motorcycle.

It is this excellent implementation of teamwork between the two that makes Viewtiful Joe 2 more than just a cookie-cutter sequel and adds in a new layer of depth to the original formula.

From beginning to end, Snake Eater is hugely enjoyable—putting the PS2 controller down and walking away from the console has never been so difficult.

For what it is, Castle Shikigami 2 is decent and can be fun. It’s just a standard shooter and will most likely appeal to fans of this type of game. In other words, it won’t be winning people over to the genre.

Poor graphics, sub-par sound, game play reminsicent of the Atari games of old and no replay value are to be found… making this an avoidable title at best. Hip Games should have kept the leash on this title, tied it to a pipe in their basement, and denied its very existence.

Some may find it tedious and even frustrating at times, but there are enough jaw-dropping moments throughout the campaign that still make Half Life 2 one of the greatest first person shooters ever.

A fine RPG with many positive qualities, but it could've been a much better game. Despite the bugs, stability issues and at times clumsy game play, Bloodlines' World of Darkness is one of intriguing plot and atmospheric intensity that you'll enjoy being sucked into.

Value is a relative term normally; it’s different for each person, but not in this case. The only convincing reason to purchase this game is as an alternative to a lobotomy.

Sadly, considering the realism on show, enemy soldiers don’t bleed when shot, neither do they react in a show of dismemberment when killed in explosions.

A lot like other quirky Sega titles like "Space Channel Five" and "Samba de Amigo" in that it’s a lot of fun to play and has an outlandish charm to it, but once you’re done, there isn’t much left to do with the game.

In the end, his sassiness may save the day, but perhaps Blinx realizes that he, like the rest of us, is just along for this ridiculous ride. If Microsoft was looking for a system mascot to equal the likes of Crash, Mario, or Sonic, then they'll have to keep looking.

When Yuke's broke onto the faltering wrestling scene a few years back, they reinvigorated it with simple but elegant controls, solid animations, and added impact to the fights. They've done it again with Rumble Roses, though it seems to be more of a decent first effort [for a new franchise] than the game that will redefine the genre.

In a gaming season plagued by same-old-same-old sequels, Need for Speed Underground 2 is a rare title that changes up the formula and still manages to stay fun. When you combine its lasting pick up appeal with a surprisingly well thought out campaign mode, you have a racing game that provides depth without sacrificing the over the top action of an arcade game.
