Like the Modern Warfare titles before it, Black Ops is an action packed and shocked induced gaming experience thanks to high presentation values.

So, even if you are weary of the WWII theme, don’t be so disillusioned by the overabundance of WWII games that you let this one elude you.

Sometimes it's so fast that it can get a bit draining. If it weren't for the cinematic feel of the game, and all the side attractions of the game, it might even seem to be a repeat of every other WWII FPS out there. The new levels and the game play changes in the multiplayer experience make up for the relatively short single player campaigns.

Boxing games will never be the same after the incredible and addictive Fight Night Round 2 that not only sheds new light to the genre but to another boxing classic of the NES days: Super Punch Out!

Even though this reviewer has played every title in the Dawn of War catalog, Dark Crusade still manages the trick of pulling me back into its world of epic conflict and frenetic combat... with a vengeance.

Another area where Pandora Tomorrow is somewhat of a let down is in the absolute necessity of having to find humans to play with.

From decent characters to the lack of a useful training mode, the game does fair well in the fighting game genre however, it is not as strong as some of its leading competitors.

Realism in games has always been a hot issue, but Tenchu achieved the perfect mixture of realistic ninja action with accompanying elements of the fantastic.

It looks, feels and plays like historical Kirby installments. However, while it looks and plays well, it is incredibly short.

The graphics and audio capture the look and sound of baseball down to every last blade of grass out on the field and the faintest boo from that fan in the nosebleed section.

No different from previous versions in terms of having much more pre-existing content than new, but the features introduced in this version make it worth a serious consideration from football game fans.

At this point, Blazblue should be on a lot of Game of the Year shortlists and, for me, is the best game of 2009 to this point.
