Still, with the lack of a traditional approach to RPG direction and narrative, some RPG gamers might feel abandoned without a sense of accomplishment or purpose.

It's a shame that this port isn't more ambitious, because there's a downloadable, deluxe and for-pay version of Bookworm for the PC that a faster mode of play, with burning blocks appearing in real-time.

While most of SNK's compilations have been fighting game-exclusive, this one brings everyone else into the fold. Check it out, people. It’s worth picking up.

The ten extra levels and two new weapons do seem to just barely justify the expansion’s price tag in the end.

For what it is, Castle Shikigami 2 is decent and can be fun. It’s just a standard shooter and will most likely appeal to fans of this type of game. In other words, it won’t be winning people over to the genre.

The game is addictive enough that I’d find myself seeing angry guests with red thought bubbles above their heads when I closed my eyes.

With the wealth of tweaking options, the high learning curve, and the dominating AI, Baja: Edge of Control is a game that only hardcore fans can truly sink their teeth into.

Horse Life has basically taken Nintendogs and removed the best parts – the ones that required the most work to make.

Alien Breed 2: Assault is a decent game and a fun co-op experience but there are some flaws.

The dark environmental settings are just not catching my eye and if I wanted this type of dark depressive art I would play an Id Software title. The charm that came with the original through its use of colors and the likable prince are now gone.

The actual tennis engine is extremely well put together, thus giving tennis purists a reason to pick the game up.

While this may be Tony Hawk’s 9th game it is hard to say that much has changed since the other games. At a full retail price of 60 dollars it is hard to recommend this game over any of the other now bargain priced Hawk games.

For all the good that can be said about the game’s graphics, sound, and generally fun ride, the biggest pitfall is that this ride ends far too shortly, clocking in with a playtime of no more than 6 to 8 hours.

A good game that would have been great if not for the disappointingly absurd A.I. and unpolished gameplay.

A mediocre football game. Madden NFL 06 is the Xbox 360's first budget title, it’s just too bad the game isn’t priced that way.

While I wouldn't say that Acceleration of Suguri X Edition has any kind of staying power as a fighting game nor even the content to hold anyone's attention for more than a few hours, at least it is an interesting mix of genres and occasionally a visual treat with flashy, screen-filling attacks.

A remarkably polished bargain title with limited scope. Like a visit from a distant relative, it's fun for a while but tends to overstay its welcome.

I believe this game could have been made with better graphics, more innovative controls and some real customization for your skate park.

The analog stick is a bit confusing. During gameplay, it’s used to rotate the camera while on your board, and used to control the player when you’re off the board. During WiFi play, you can’t rotate the camera at all because it’s only used for controlling your character. This becomes quite confusing.

But for a cheaper price point of the $30 range, Line Rider 2: Unbound is still worthy to be at least a rental. Or go find the original version online for free.

With The Urbz, EA has trimmed down the general Sims formula, removing more in-depth options along the way, but, in doing so, they've also cut away the very captivating essence of the franchise.

For the short while it lasts, Dog Days' campaign isn't bad; it is simply too short. Normally a short campaign is excusable when quality online multiplayer modes are implemented but this is simply not the case.

To be frank, even if I hadn’t played this game as a kid, I would have bought it; my man crush on XSeed is enough for me, but I can’t recommend this game for anyone who hasn’t played the MMO beforehand.
