The Last Story and Xenoblade Chronicles are two different games which both try to achieve certain similar goals, however, The Last Story often shows potential without ever fully succeeding in basically every field. Visuals are absolutely pretty but special effects cause heavy FPS drops; battles are intriguing but extremely easy and confusing; the story itself is well told but very cliché. It's an overall good game, although it doesn't live up to its own hype.

Death is permament and every new beginning tastes the same, but its wide variety of classes and enemies fairly compensates. When you start, its winning mix of features taken from MMO and hell-bullets games won't let you go anymore.

Dariusburst SP is an excellent shooter, packed with three different game modes, alternate routes and endings, great graphics and music. What a pity the touch controls don't let you cover the entire screen with a single slide.

It reminds the puzzle game of the nineties with its immediate gameplay and its colorful graphic. It's a funny game and you'll appreciate it if you decide to take every single object trying to achieve the best score.

Reckless Racing 2 is a major improvement over the first episode, with a welcome structure that glues together the single races in a effective, even if not original way. A must-buy for arcade racing fans.

Army Corps of Hell is a disappointing effort. The story is utterly meaningless and gameplay lacks depth and challenge. The visuals are in no way better than an average PSP title and stages soon become a repetitive chore. Too bad for a good heavy-metal soundtrack which deserved a better game.

    SSX
It's been a long wait but well worth it: SSX returns at its best with a new approach to the snowboarding genre. Its exaggerated tricks mixed with the new survival tune, well crafted graphics and abundance of content make it the game that SSX fans - and generally extreme sports games fans - were dreaming of during the last few years.

FIFA series comes on Vita maintaining the same gameplay, graphics and options of the home version. The game mixes the gameplay of FIFA 11 and FIFA 12, getting a good result. So the title remain the number one football game on all formats and if you love football you can not miss this game.

American Nightmare is a good comeback for our favourite writer. It's a bit too small and its structure could use some more variety. But, given the price of admittance and the sheer quality of its elements, it's well worth playing.

Reality Fighters is a lackluster beat'em-up, designed around a nice idea but plagued by a broken augmented reality feature and some control and depth issues. Miyagi is a cool addition and the character editor is somewhat decent, but the game is mostly disappointing.

Escape Plan is a hard and fast but extremely fun puzzle-game that takes advantage from the unique features of Sony's latest hardware platform to deliver a rewarding and visually pleasing product. Believe us: this is one of the strongest titles in the PlayStation Vita's launch library.

One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP is a boring game and even worse it's just half of the original release. Nice albeit old visuals and funny characters can't save an excruciating farming feast, unless you are a true fan of the franchise.

DoDonPachi Blissful Death is a great vertical shooter, one of the best on the App Store. It lacks the variety of DoDonPachi Resurrection, but still delivers a solid, hardcore gameplay.

Although it's a 'member' of a not particularly popular genre, Lumines is without any doubt one of the best PlayStation Vita launch games, a visual/audio gem with a high quality production value.

The new Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games on the 3DS is a good, in some cases really good, party game, probably the best on the platform. But some of the minigames in the collection are not on par with the others, and the lack of online multiplayer is starting to get unjustifiable nowadays.

Virtua Tennis 4 is a pefect game for Vita, with great visuals and full of contents in the Career Mode. Sim nuts must be aware that VT4 a completely arcade game, easy and fun to play, but not as complex as the other tennis titles avalaible.

Tekken on 3DS is a well done conversion, with a steady 60 fps framerate (also in 3D!) and the same gameplay from PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. There are just two single player modes, and controls are some kind of problematic, but for the fans with a 3DS it's a must buy.

Little Deviants is a moderate showcase of PlayStation Vita's features, however such features are not always well implemented and lead to awkward moments of pure frustration. When minigames are good and well designed Little Deviants is a fun and enjoyable compilation, otherwise it often becomes dull and repetitive.

Syndicate is a funny shooter and has several interesting visual aspects starting from the excellent graphics to the HUD. At the same time the game doesn't introduce anything to the usual gameplay of any other FPS and this could be a problem in terms of gameplay mechanics.

Asura's Wrath is a funny and spectacular game, a different take on the action genre and a title with a very interesting way to tell an interactive story. It's a shame that it's so short and lacks real replayability and challange, we finshed the game without losing any life at medium difficuly level.

F1 2011 is not a good game. The game has a lot of problems, way bigger than the home console versions. Bad A.I, unpolished visuals and an easy and too arcade handling condemn the game to a mediocrity that the franchise doesn't deserve.
