It's just a shame Radiant Historia did not get an EU release, this new effort by Atlus is not just one of the best videogames available on Nintendo DS but also one of the best JRPGs in the last few years.

Not the fantastic retro platform that we expected, Risky's Revenge is a nice little metroidvania game that suffers from a just competent but far from stellar level and game design.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords 25th Anniversary is a welcome addition to the DS Ware's arsenal and offers an all-new single-player option to solve puzzles and dungeons. It's not without issues, single player sessions lack depth and you can't actually connect to the Internet to find people to play with, but it's great fun and totally free.

Risk of Rain 2 is a third person shooter roguelike full of items to unlock and enemies to kill. However it is a little short of breath.

Fresh, intense and challenging without being complex; that's how we would define Inscryption. Mullins' adventure, published by Devolver Digital, is a card game but also an escape room. The card battles are fast, fun and extremely varied and in the background there is also an interesting, exciting, well-acted plot.

Conviction can't be the perfect epilogue for the saga. The new Sam Fisher's adventure is well structured, with a fluid and fast gameplay and an intricate and addictive plot but it has several technical glitches and imperfections. But if you don't mind about these problems, you'll play Conviction from the start until the end and will appreciate every single part of its gameplay.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is clearly a great sequel, but can't recapture the lightning in a bottle of its predecessor, due to a more chaotic progression and an overall worse balancing of the mechanics. Still, we definitely recommend it to anyone who loves the genre, loved the original, or simply loves good fun.

It's been a while, but Codemasters is back again with a great driving game. DiRT Rally is a love letter for motorsport and players alike: it's fast, it's realistic, it's really difficult but never frustrating. It's a real masterpiece, probably the best rally game ever.

The War Within is a decent start to the all-new Worldsoul Saga with an engaging story, some good character development and a very promising villain. Content wise it's more of the same, quality of life improvement notwithstanding: same gameplay loop, same quest design, same issues with balancing and a few new features, such as Delves and Hero Talents, that doesn't really add much to WoW as we know it.

Aqua Moto Racing 2 is a sequel with a lot of improvements; it's an arcade racing game of course, but the water's movement can give to the acquascoters some kind of realistic reactions; it's not perfect, but it's enjoyable, so if you like water races, you will love it.

To be completely honest, Dragon Quest II is practically worth the whole package on its own: it’s the game in the Erdrick trilogy that Square Enix has refreshed the best, thanks to an already solid foundation — particularly in terms of narrative and character development. By overcoming the limitations that plagued Dragon Quest III last year, this new release delivers a more complete and satisfying experience, even considering a first installment that remains somewhat raw — yet brave — despite its new HD-2D makeover. Will it change the minds of those who dislike nostalgic revivals and the inherent anachronism of Dragon Quest? Probably not. But it will definitely please anyone who loves diving into the history of the genre, surrounded by vivid colors and unforgettable music.
