With over 20 new battlefronts on land and in space, this is a great sequel with a lot more added features improving the original tenfold.

Without a doubt, Darksiders is a game that stands on the shoulders of giants, and Vigil Games clearly could not be more proud of this fact, as their passionate yet careful design demonstrates that they both respect and know how to borrow from the best

Most sports games are released every year, and you can usually expect just a few minor changes from the previous installment. NHL 09 has broken that trend and introduced many new features and tweaked existing elements to create a game far superior than last year's version.

The interactive 3rd person feature and the well executed 'toy soldiers' setting really propels this title forward to the top spots of Xbox Live Arcade gaming.

Dishwasher: Vampire Smile has more than enough content for its cost, absolutely amazing gameplay, and some impressive visuals. The plot is completely irrelevant to the experience, but it's certainly not bad. If players want a fast paced action game with a surprising amount of depth, Dishwasher 2 is certainly worth checking out.

Harry Potter is a fantastic game to play for both kids and adults. Traveller's Tales took the risk of going in another direction with this and have made a little gem of a game.

There's a lot to do in VF5, which will keep offline players entertained for quite some time, and is always good to break out if you have friends round. The game does have a lot of depth for those who wish to devote much time to learning and mastering characters, but at the same time, beginners can button mash and be reasonably successful - or by learning a few simple moves.

The campaign mode is full of tense moments, high action sequences and is presented using a very cinematic approach at all times. It’s fun, engaging and pushes all the right buttons. That said, there’s definitely an air of familiarity about the whole thing especially if you’ve played the first game and I felt some sections were a little, Graw painting by numbers.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is confident enough to stick out its chest on PC and indeed the console for its impressive control setups.

Sega Sports went out of their way to lovingly craft an excellent piece of software, and at the price it just can't be beat.

With solid visuals pushing the Xbox hardware, top-notch sound and voice acting driving the impressively deep story and an improved version of the rich game play we've come to know and love, Double Agent is easily a solid 9 out of 10, and a must own for any fan of the series.

Minor (and understandable) technical complaints aside, this is a gem of an Xbox game.

Capcom have done wonders with keeping the elements that made RE what they are, but also moving it forwards just enough to remain fresh.

Rock Band is an excellent addition to the Xbox 360 line-up of games, and I'm sure Harmonix and EA will make good use of the equipment for future titles.

In closing, I had no doubt that 2K11 was going to deliver, but this year's edition has taken it to a whole new level, and actually had me surprised at times.

It's well over two year's since we first had the privilege to be submerged into the world of Rapture for the very first time. In contrast to the first outing, the sequel certainly delivers that same and unique feel with the combination of well thought out design and audio. It's not so much 'better' than the original, but provides enough twists and turns to keep us unadulterately submerged in this mesmerizing underwater (and demented) utopia.

DiRT 3 proves to be a worthy outing, and in comparison to its predecessors offers enough bang for its proverbial buck in terms of overall content. However, the addition of the new Gymkhana free-style mode may give long-time DiRT fans more than they bargained for, and not necessarily in a good way with regards to the progression of the Tour mode. Gymkhana aside, and what we have here is another fine addition to the series that offers up plenty of incentive to rev those engines and get down n' dirty on the race track once again.

An interesting, atmospheric, engaging and most importantly fun to play shooter despite being a little mindless at times.

Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 may not be perfect, but in terms of the fighting genre it’s about as good as it gets in terms of fun, value, longevity and content.

Of all the Kinect games to date, Ultimate Workout is definitely the most concise program out there.

Comic Jumper offers a veritable slice of old school gaming with a sheen of modern polish, a lot of humour to make a game which stands out in the crowd of similar action games.

It’s Different, pleasant, fun and one more reason to purchase those gamer points.

EA could have put in so much more to provide an ultimate boxing experience yet what they have offered is a bare bones fighter that simply looks good and plays well but after extensive play becomes rather underwhelming.

If you're a Mass Effect 2 head, then this is must have content.

The story element whilst interesting did feel very pantomime to me as a lot of hard talking was uttered during the cinematic moments and I often felt that these hard talking people would probably be better off bringing out shotguns and Uzis rather than taking to the streets to settle differences.

Whilst the missions are incredibly fun and engaging, the new watered down approach adopted by the developers seems to have hurt the game in my opinion, yes I prefer the original set up a lot more.

If you’re into puzzles and you’ve never played the PC version of N, this one is a must buy.

I do like the Lego aspect of this game; it makes it stand out from the other Rock Bands (except perhaps The Beatles). The music selection is great and the rock challenges are fun.
