On paper Motion Sports sounds like a good idea, with a wide variety of events to rival Kinect Sports.

The missing tag instructions, flawed control system, serious lack of a story and the number of glitches in this game should be embarrassing for Acclaim.

Like the majority of ports of strategy games to the consoles, I'd stay clear of this title like the deadly measles virus.

Once you strip away the western theme of the game you are left with pretty much a standard shooter that offers no frills entertainment.

Great in very short bursts and that’s about it.

The game has none of the style or effectiveness of other similar games and as I've said several times in this review, the whole thing smells of generic.

All in all, the time I spent playing this game I enjoyed, especially the more challenging levels that required a bit of thinking to finish. However at 800 MS points it's hard to justify spending that much when there are so many better games out there.

If you're new to the delights of Risk and are after a game that isn't overly taxing but challenging all the same, then this is worth checking out.

Eragon isn’t a bad game per se but is ultimately an average affair as it offers very little innovation to hack and slash gaming.

The driving and shooting is something different yet the repetitive nature of the game, lack of true variety or tactics with the weapons means that the game soon becomes old.

Let's get this straight, this is not an exercise game in the normal sense, in that you won't be shedding any pounds whilst playing - it's simply not that kind of deal. However, you will be treated to some puzzles which test various parts of the brain, and in this regard you can assume that it's being exercised - probably a lot more than lounging out in front of the TV watching drivel.

If you’re thinking of picking up Shrek N Roll you’ve got to take into consideration that you don’t get your 800 points worth. It’s the short single player, the flawed multiplayer, the challenging for the average child difficulty and the shallow game play that bring this game down.

At the end of the day, Ghostbuster: Sanctum of Slime is a fun romp for the first few levels, and if you don't expect much after that then you'll be on the right track. Because...We came. We saw. We left disappointed.

If you take away all the bad things in this version, and you are still left with the same game as the original.

That being said though, judging the game on its own grounds, Koei have never failed to populate the series with its many options and the tradition continues here, this is something definitely shedding fifteen or so pound for the Playstation 2, but to pay an extra ten or so on top for the Xbox 360 is hardly justifiable.

As an average RPG fan, fun moments in Risen came in doses and to get to them, it required some patience which includes saving lots, various boring missions and taking plenty of damage.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is a novel idea on paper, but is ultimately let down by its shooter by numbers gameplay and under par presentation.

I found that some of the controls were also rather horrid especially the first person aiming with some weapons.

This may be one of the better Spider-Man games, but by today's standards, other than a decent beat em up with some familiar faces, I recommend even the truest of Spidey fanatics give this a rental.

The first Templar just reeks of average, and perhaps the budget afforded to Haemimont only allowed for that. Whilst the story is largely forgettable, you'll be mildly entertained with the quirky action that rides throughout. The odd puzzles are welcome, and the mixture of styles help make for a more rounded experience.

Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is an average game that will appeal to die hards only, and that's people who just love to level up characters and collect items for personal benefit.

I’ve enjoyed playing BIONICLE Heroes for the sheer fact that it’s uncomplicated, easy to get into and a lot of fun. However on a negative I can’t help but feel the net could have been widened to include levels of difficulty for more seasoned players and perhaps more levels and objectives other than the same repeated sequences throughout the game.

Rise of the Argonauts is not a terrible game, and in some respects is quite enjoyable, especially in regards to its story. However, the low production values in the gameplay and graphics department, does mean that you’ll possibly find enjoyment is severely hindered and your patience somewhat tested.

Universe at War at times feels too simplistic and yet overwhelming with confusion at other points in the game as you are trying to keep track of multiple things and constantly having to shift your view of the map.

2K’s take on the NHL franchise has always been poor in comparison to EA’s, and this edition is no exception. If you want to buy a hockey game it has to be NHL 09, the gameplay is untouchable and you’ll be playing it all year.

I can see that some fans will gain enjoyment, and those gamers tired of the norm, but for my tastes, the appeal of the game was lost pretty early on.
