As an average RPG fan, fun moments in Risen came in doses and to get to them, it required some patience which includes saving lots, various boring missions and taking plenty of damage.

Ga'Hoole is a rarity in that it's one of those few movie tie-in titles that is actually worth playing.

Crash: Mind Over Mutant attempts to use platformer cliches that have been done far better by several titles since platformers made the transition to 3D.

Shaun White Snowboarding ultimately is more of an uphill experience than it is racing down an icy slope.

In closing, Beneath the Ashes is a commendable slice of Tomb Raider adventuring, but still feels like it was part of the main game, that was either left on the cutting room floor, or withheld for the purpose of exclusive content.

The fluidity of character movement is absolutely horrid as the character you control moves in a sluggish and exaggerated manner.

Bakugan is a surprisingly fun and addictive and that's coming from an older gamers perspective. Whilst the anime inspired story might come across weak and typical, the game is fresh and rewarding to play due to its tactical slant and despite the fact the AI likes to cheat, but also makes its fair share of mistakes.

Don’t be fooled by the cute and cartoon looking game presented here. Because beneath the surface there’s some intricate and clever design that will test even the most ardent of fans and gamers.

A very average game and one that is for fans of Keanu, the movie or those who are simply bored and looking for a title to rent.

    Rio
If you've been looking for the next game to buy for the kids, then Rio is most certainly the game to buy, that is provided there's a couple of gamers to join in the escapades. Better still, get yourself involved as well, as Rio proves to be a simplistic entertaining romp for all gamers despite its cute and cuddly looks.

However the length of the game is increased by the furiously frustrating trial and error game play and super accurate guards on occasion.

The transition to console has worked well and will no doubt garner some new fans; so in this respect the game does well. However will limited appeal outside of Japan I think a lot of gamers will overlook this game and then miss out on something quite unique.

If you’re looking for a quick beat-‘em-up to play with your friends, or you just want to ride the TMNT nostalgia train, Turtles In Time Re-Shelled is a solid buy for 800 Microsoft points ($10.00 / £6.80). Cowabunga, dude!

It is not challenging enough to be a fully fledged RPG or have enough bad mutha action in it to be classed as a 3rd person action shooter romp.

Microbot really dazzles the player with its beautiful backgrounds and unique setting, but it doesn't stop it from making it a tedious expedition half way through the game.

Crazy Taxi could last you a while, but most of the game's longevity will come from maximizing your scores, trying to climb the leaderboards, and trying to collect all of the achievements for each of the three game modes.

With so much riding on the line it's hard to understand why Dark Energy released a game that could have been amazing! The water dynamics were the best part of the game, but were essentially diminished because of the inept camera angles, monotonous missions, and last-gen graphics.

Strikeforce has added a few new additions to the series but all in all it just hasn't done enough with it. In reality the game feels like it should have stayed on the PSP.

The majority of the game’s levels do feel repetitive. If you like to get some easy achievements from the game, then these can easily be attained.

I’ve enjoyed playing BIONICLE Heroes for the sheer fact that it’s uncomplicated, easy to get into and a lot of fun. However on a negative I can’t help but feel the net could have been widened to include levels of difficulty for more seasoned players and perhaps more levels and objectives other than the same repeated sequences throughout the game.

LA Rush isn't a bad game per se because at times it's quite fun. The problem is that there are other racers on the market that do the same thing but are much less frustrating.

Ken's Rage is a decent deviation for Koei and has captured the essence of the Fist of the North Star anime and therefore succeeds on that front. However, as an action game the same problems from the Dynasty Warriors games make their presence well felt here as well which ultimately let the game down.

Given the time and I think folks could come to appreciate this quirky Xbox Live Arcade title … it’s unfortunate that being released so close to Halo 3 many have chosen to pass on it.
