    While the new version makes the game more accessible, offers more depth on the domain's management and a small but not marginal graphic facelift (notably sunlight management). It is unfortunately counterbalanced by the main character models being sometimes less polished, a catastrophic display of nights and a rather embarrassing bridle of the experience. This version is recommended for those who could not play the original game. However, the PC version is highly recommended, at least for the 60 FPS availability.

    Plucky Squire is a charming adventure that lacks just a “little something” to make it truly magical. Packed with visual and gameplay discoveries, All Possible Futures' software doesn't take enough time to delve into its universe, its characters and its 3D phases, which are well integrated into the rest of Jolt' epic. These shortcomings prevent the journey from being a memorable one, but make no mistake: this is still a very fine videogame tale, calibrated for the whole family.

    With Space Junkies, Ubisoft offers unbridled competitive multiplayer battles. Needless to say that the bet is successful. Lots of action, very little seriousness and no motion sickness. Space Junkies also manages to be both accessible and difficult to master against experienced opponents who will be able to take advantage of the field bonuses, verticality and gadgets, in addition to knowing how to use the right weapon at the right time.

    We. The Revolution manages to plunge us into the darkest era of France, with an innovative scenario, and the special appeal to play as a judge. There is always something to do, and the system of choices and repercussions is cruel but just. It's a good thing that you can go back in time whenever you want and make different choices. The game is as expected: immersive and refreshing.

    Rogue Trader delivers everything you'd expect from an RPG set in the vast Warhammer 40,000 universe. A dark atmosphere, numerous cruel choices, excellent companions, exploration of the galaxy and its dangers, good tactical combat and even some rather successful space battles. Realization is also quite good for a game of this genre, but it's far from mainstream, with a lot of text to read on the one hand and daunting character progression on the other. Our biggest regret is that, like many other games, Rogue Trader will probably come out full of bugs that will take a while to resolve.

    Astro's Playroom is a game that can be experienced with a lot of simplicity and without any particular expectations. It will surprise you during the few hours of gameplay it offers, and will allow you to learn more about the generations of PlayStation consoles as well as the DualSense controller's features. This is a great surprise from the creative and generous ASOBI development team and is a great way to start a long adventure with the next generation of PS5 games!

    DiRT 5 has decided to go straight for the arcade gameplay and makes no secret of it. It's fun at every level, and even if it's not to everyone's taste, it works quite well. If the title proves to be rather unoriginal, weirdly unbalanced on several levels and a little too easy, the variety of environments and types of races, combined with a beautifully dynamic weather and a quality soundtrack, make us forgive its flaws.

    Ape Out is grueling. Constantly, all in movement and speed, the game will make you live something very satisfying. It is like a little walk before turning into a jam-session that will seem very messy from a distance, for the uninitiated. You'll enjoy replaying it, in the manner of a single good vinyl.

    Super Mario RPG is one of the strangest Mario games in its history: with its world of characters seemingly drawn from an entirely different universe, its darker-than-usual graphic style and its turn-based gameplay, the late Squaresoft's game is one of the Super Famicom's diamonds in the rough that had never before made it to the Old Continent, with a proper localization. A mistake that has now been rectified, with a meticulous translation, a graphical overhaul that does justice to the 1996 game and gameplay adjustments that allow younger players to enjoy it.

    Even though it's easy to see that recycling is present, Dying Light 2 pulls its weight thanks to its more vertical map than ever and the fluidity encountered when completing various parkour moves. In single player, the game will keep you going for a good thirty hours and much more to complete all the side missions. Techland has kept its promise despite the negative points and make this new opus an endless pleasure. Ah, and beware of those afraid of blood, it spurts quite a bit.

    Even if it remains rather childish and won't blow your mind as much as the other Playstation adaptations, Sackboy also takes advantage of all the potential of these machines in terms of graphics. The challenge is not very high, but the gameplay is fascinating, and the levels are efficiently designed. The fact that you can use DualSense for even more immersion, and the charm of the game's artistic direction and its enchanting soundtrack, makes it a must-have platformer for fans of the genre.

    Project Zero 5 is not a bad game: with its Japanese horror movie atmosphere reminiscent of The Grudge or the mythical The Ring, Koei Tecmo's survival-horror succeeds in immersing the player in its scary universe full of macabre stories and tormented spirits. Also, Gamepad is for once very well exploited with a Camera Obscura to be controlled directly with the gyroscope (or the sticks if you wish). Unfortunately, the numerous back and forths to do during the game and the general stiffness of the gameplay make the pleasure of the game fall very quickly, leaving only a nice adventure, but far from being memorable.

    When you look at the big picture, Sparklite seems to be a very good game, and it is. The original concept of a Roguelike with a important hub, as in Moonlighter, is well used. It's flawless both technically and gameplay wise, and there's even some exploration. So what more could you ask for? Well, a story that would hold a little more ground, and above all, more content. You're going to have fun on Sparklite, it's inevitable. However, this will not last long and replayability is very low. So given the price, you may want to wait for sales or additional content to let yourself be seduced by this enchanting title.

    The similarities between the 2001: A Space Odyssey and Observation are numerous. The only big difference is that while the first may seem long, the second is much less so. For the rest, everything is present: the universe of course, the atmosphere, the lengthening scenes, the calm rhythm with a few more intense moments, the metaphysical side, and all the codes of Kubrick's film. Apart from the moments when you find yourself a little lost without really knowing what you have to do, you can have a really good time playing Observation. Regarding gameplay, the title is limited to exploration and puzzles in the form of simple mini-games, but this has the credit of being original and the enjoyment is here! We get caught up in the story that we follow with great pleasure and it is not uncommon to have your hair rising looking at certain scenes. And that's a lot.

    Fade to Silence is a real survival game with hints of Souls-like that sets the mood and raises the tension. Even if its graphics are not top-of-the-range, the sets reflect the extreme conditions in which we find ourselves and the soundtrack is a very good match. It's a pity that there are still a few bugs left. If the concept of permanent death can make you angry, it remains an essential element, it would be a pity to ignore it by using the exploration mode, which we advise you to use only in last resort, since bargains and blessings allow you to restart stronger and save time.

    We conclude with great sadness this saga alongside Clementine. Even if it is quite short, the episode still offers us a great deal of emotion and action. Produced in the same manner as the previous episodes, it still brings some innovations and does not simply end the adventure softly. AJ takes off for the worse and for the better.

    Cindered Shadows is everything we expected from a Fire Emblem Three Houses DLC, turning the Season Pass into a great deal with its new characters, new classes, and tough battles. It removes the flaws of the main campaigns to give us a condensed version of intense battles and story, with enough new features sprinkled on top of it to extend the game experience an average of ten hours. If you plan to replay campaigns later on, its price is entirely justified.

    Despite its flaws, Gears Tactics should manage to satisfy tacticians and fans of the license, pushing players to be aggressive while showing some finesse. It's a pleasure to play this campaign, which has a correct lifespan. Unfortunately, the strategic dimension is almost non-existent and replayability is really lacking. It's a great game to play on occasion via Gamepass, but probably not one that many will choose to dwell on.

    With an inspired art direction and a rich universe, GreedFall is a quality RPG with rich and engaging content. However, it's not free of defects, especially in its production, animation, and graphics. We also lament a freedom restricted by invisible walls and a lack of varied movement (such as jumping or swimming), as well as battles that could have been more intense. However, all this fails to dampen the pleasure we had in travelling in search of secrets, or in constantly showing diplomacy to satisfy each party.

    Resident Evil 3 version 2020 works very well. The adventure will delight action fans without sacrificing what makes the soul of the series, its survival horror side. The atmosphere is amazing, oppressive and reinforced by the constant pressure of the Nemesis, which benefits from a much better AI than Mr. X. The RE Engine is more precise and the music plunges us into a nightmarish universe. However, the adventure is quite simple in its confrontations, thanks to new gameplay mechanics, and won't put your brains to the test. The few puzzles are very basic and the weapons and accessories aren't really hidden, making the single-player adventure very short. Still, we're having a great time with Jill and Carlos, and Capcom proves once again the quality of the Resident Evil license.

    Disgaea is a great Tactical RPG series, and this fourth episode is considered by many to be THE best of the five. While the addition of a couple of scenarios and playable characters increases the playtime even more, the high price is not justified for a game originally released in 2011. The Complete + edition will mainly target fans of the series missing the additional content offered by A Promise Revisited on the PlayStation Vita. For newcomers ready to engage in a complete and complex gameplay, an exceptional adventure awaits them.

    Crying Suns is a striking and fascinating game in many ways, which offers an epic journey through the stars that will satisfy a while the fans of space tactics and science fiction with its rich and dark story. It's a pretty good game, but it lacks the elements that would make it a good rogue-like, the ships and their gameplay are too similar, the crew choices are unnecessarily restricted, the events are repetitive and predictable, the game blocks us to the last chapter of the story, etc. It will be necessary for the developers to review all this so that it can reach its full potential.

    Space Marine 2 offers a gameplay experience that's both short and intense. It's very satisfying to shred hordes of enemies in the middle of an epic battlefield. It's beautiful, polished and easy to get to grips with, but its lack of content will grieve all those who were hoping to invest more time in its cooperative mode. The gameplay quickly becomes tiresome, while the lack of variety in the enemies and missions on offer doesn't help either. But there's potential here, with a very good base. We'll be keeping an eye on how Space Marine 2 develops over the coming months and years.

    Dark Devotion doesn't invent anything, that's for sure. On the other hand, he is a very good copier and knows how to pick right and left to be inspired and propose a Rogue Like as an attractive pixel art that will certainly not change the vision of the genre, but should bring a significant dose to fans of the genre who need their regular fix. The Castlevania marriage with Dark souls works perfectly and promises long hours to anyone who wants to explore everything. It is also recommended for neophytes of the genre, because even if it can be punitive at times, it is less so than others.

    The Outer Worlds 2 retains the strengths of the first title, with rich dialogue and storytelling, while surpassing it on almost every technical level. The dialogue and choices available remain the main strengths of this sequel, while other aspects prove uneven and not always very convincing, such as combat or the omnipresence of skill requirements, for example. Compared to other recent big RPGs, this sequel unfortunately doesn't measure up, unless you're keen to play a 3D Fallout in space.

    If you want a game to be fun above all else, then Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin might be for you. However, it is necessary to have a certain distance on the whole of the new production of Team Ninja, since it is filled witch clichés that should absolutely not be taken at face value in order to be appreciated as it should be. Skillfully mixing the gameplay of Nioh with the jobs and worlds of Final Fantasy in settings unworthy of our time, FFO is the very definition of guilty pleasure. A good game, not to be put in all hands.

    Soulstice is a beat them all with excellent gameplay and we can thank the duality of possibilities offered by Lute and Briar for that. The story is mysterious and transports us for about fifteen hours into a tragic story. Nevertheless, we deplore some technical defects, the layout of some levels or arenas, as well as the third-person view which may put off some people.

    With Aiko's Choice, Mimimi delivers a good extension for Shadow Tactics with three neat missions that offer us a challenge strong enough to exploit all the mechanics set up. On the other hand, there is nothing new in terms of gameplay. This makes it more of a pack of additional missions. That said, the care given to the missions and the richness of the tactical situations allows once again to rack your brains in this excellent infiltration game that is Shadow Tactics.

    With Triangle Strategy Artdink fails to dethrone the legends Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. However, it accomplishes its mission brilliantly, offering an experience very close to its two illustrious models, while bringing some ingredients of its own. With the balance of judgment, Triangle Strategy manages to differentiate itself by relying heavily on persuasion and interesting moral choices, even if it means being far too talkative.

    Fire Emblem Engage is a very unbalanced title, on the one hand, it is very affordable for all players, and we loved the challenges it offers at high difficulty levels. But on the other hand, its story and characters made us roll our eyes all the time. Fortunately, the quality realization, at least for the Switch, makes up for it. Also, real efforts have been made to improve the gameplay, and the interface is well thought out. It's a real pleasure to play and watch the fights, which are always accompanied by good animations and music. This can be a great game, if you can ignore the bad parts of it, and focus on the tactical battles.
