Sir Daniel Fortesque is back, and that is already great news. This new version of the first game is a whole remake in the visual side, but more a remaster on the playable side. The camera has been retouched, but it’s still a pain in the ass and the worst part of the game AGAIN. But luckily, Dan’s charisma, the new graphics and the own universe of this game makes worthwhile to revisit the experience again.

Obsidian Entertainment achieves another great RPG game with The Outer Worlds. It presents a good story and ambience with plenty of customization options for our character and ways to proceed in every single situation. Even so, its technical errors and other details prevent the game from reaching the excellence it could have achieved.

Despite Aggelos looks like a simple clone of Wonderboy, the game has a strong personality and it’s really fun.

A beautifully made narrative adventure that focused on the dialogues between the neighbors. There is also a mystery to be solved.

Mario Kart Tour is the best exploration of the franchise in the worst-case scenario. Nintendo has bet for a vibrant and appealing experience both in playability and in visual terms, but they are telling the payers that they are destined to pay if they want to get the best score in every single track; unless you are lucky enough to get that 1% chance pilot. Bad «game as a service» design, but they are still on time to reverse the situation by being less aggressive with the in game payments.

One of the best mmorpg in the world returns with more force than ever. A perfect engineering work getting bringing the game as it was in the past with little change but with graphical improvements. The World of Warcraft we all wanted is here.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint tries to mix some of the best features in other ubisoft franchises, but fails in its execution. However, its great gunplay keeps the interest in the game.

Impeccable product, even better than the original, Ori and The Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is already one of the best games in Switch. A star that shines with special intensity among the many that already illuminate the nourished catalog of the Nintendo console.

The best pinball video game for Nintendo Switch. Lots of tables, many game modes and extras to collect. Take full advantage of the console features.

Shadowkeep and New Light bring Destiny 2 a new born. A massive upgrade becomes the game Free to Play with lots of playable content without giving a cent. They also add new and interesting systems, like Armor 2.0 or the seasonal battlepass, which give the players (also de free to play players) more possibilities than ever. Besides, this big update came with Destiny 2’s new DLC, Shadowkeep, who sent us to the Moon to fight our nightmares. An enjoyable adventure maybe too short and irregular at some parts of the history, but really nice in general terms, with a very surprising ending .

Greedfall is wildly ambitious and that is both its greatest boon and misstep. Were Spiders able to rein in their expectations we might have a more complete and perfect game here but as it stands there is too much filler to make this a flawless recommendation. Maybe next time.

Trine 4 applies the "back to roots" ideal, returning to what always worked on this franchise. Charming character models and solid puzzle design make for a solid Trine experience, even though it seems to be more focused on newcomers, as the challenge should have been bigger: especially if you take into account how refined everything looks and plays.

Sayonara Wild Hearts is a pop-culture allegory where its creators aimed to tell you a story where every level was thought to evoke a different emotion. Its brilliant soundtrack and the visual style make this game extremely unique and appealing. Rhythm and precision as a rule, but it’s much more than that: it’s a playable music album.

Golazo! is a humble game and it definitely entertains for a while, especially if you are into co-op games with friends. Unfortunately it doesn´t live up to the standards of yesteryear due to all the crazy stuff happening during the matches as well as the excessive lack of depth.

Although many will find the core mechanics in this game enjoyable, Contra: Rogue Corps is a really awful game visually, which destroys any possible resemblance to glorious titles in the franchise like Contra III. Undoubtedly, this is another missed opportunity for the saga, but also one that never tried to be true to the franchise, looking at Neo Contra as an inspiration instead.

This “Sci Fi Souls” has really grown into a beast of its own. The exploration is rewarding, the combat hectic and the progression system has a lot of possibilities going on. It may not be the most majestic take on the genre, and there are issues with the performance on base systems, but The Surge 2 is a strong new entry in this so-hard-yet-so-satisfying niche of games.

Blasphemous is a successful mix of two landmark series which already have previous and recent masterworks in common. Visually striking and delivering some of this year´s best pixel art, its shortcomings relate to both the combat and control schemes, which somewhat overshadow some really good sense of exploration in many of ithe game´s zones. Otherwise, this is a pretty good metroidvania / souls, very enjoyable from start to finish.

Gearbox returns with a new entry in the Borderlands saga and it's the best one yet. It has more guns, a better gunplay, a bunch of iconic characters and a great story, more planets to explore and interesting quests. Even though it has some bugs yet to be fixed, fans are going to enjoy Borderlands 3 and it's going to become a good entry in the shooter-looter genre.
