Although it’s not an essential buy, it can very well capitalize on the fever around the Olympic Games. Especially because it has a good amount of competitions, online modes and worldwide rankings. Just a word of advice…your fingers will probably pay a heavy price. [July 2008]

Even if you're a fan of the anime, the story and dialogues fail to impress. You can still look at it for the novelty of the control scheme, but soon you realize that there are only few movements that you can do, even fewer game modes and almost no difficulty. [May 2008]

A mix of revolutionary ideas and clumsy execution, Alone in the Dark is like a giant with clay feet. The way it marries new concepts with an old fashion control scheme of the character, not to mention some technical flaws, leaves us with a game that is frequently frustrating and only sometimes brilliant. It doesn’t even measures to something called “Fight Night Round 3”. It only makes us crave more action on the EA virtual square ring. The character editor is quite complete but, besides that, Prizefighter is quite disappointing. [Aug 2008]

Not that we were expecting something big from this game. But something like this, unfinished and with no personality whatsoever, will quickly drown in a highly competitive industry... even more so if it’s an FPS. [Jan 2008]

Younger players might want this game for its cute characters, but it’s not as fun as it looks. It’s possible that some less demanding children might like it, but there are better party games available out there. [Jan 2008]

Despite the good background with the "Timespliters" series, Free Radical fails to deliver a appealing game, and the good moments provided by Nectar fall short to face so many negative points. From the problems in the gameplay and AI to the poor graphics and sound, Haze actually makes us cry for the return to "Timesplitters." [June 2008]

There’s a lot of detail on the scenery and the characters really look like the actors. And it follows the same structure as the show, mixing sections from the island with some flashbacks. But the gameplay is comprised of out of date mechanics and it doesn’t have what is basically the essence of Lost – a plot that really catches your attention. It doesn’t even tie well with the events of the show. [Apr 2008]

It follows the same action/ beat’em up mechanics that we can find on all of the Dynasty Warriors series. It’s basic and can become easily repetitive. Going through levels waiting to find groups of enemies without intelligence stops being appealing after a short while. [Jan 2008]

It has charisma and it’s quite fun. Despite the arcade style, its combat mechanic is very technical and rewarding, although the difficulty could be more balanced. One final word for the character creator, that allows for the most bizarre creations. [Sept 2008]

With arenas full of color and 3D Pokémons, it might be of interest to anyone who likes the franchise, but it’s kind of short and doesn’t offer a lot of variety. An adventure mode might have been a good idea. [Dec 2007]

All the key elements of the game are present on this remake. The graphics look quite detailed and colored new backgrounds have been introduced to make it look alive. A new Continue option, unlocked by mini games completion, will welcome the new players. The game itself remains as addictive as it’s always been and it’s an excellent choice if you like this genre. Just in case you’re great fans of long journeys inside dungeons, almost no conversation and don’t mind restarting from zero every time you die…you can probably find it somewhat interesting. But the majority of players will turn their backs at this concept. [July 2008]

The actions you perform on the first level are exactly the same that you use from there on forward. It’s not totally awful but the lack of ambition here is obvious. [Nov 2007]

Two good remakes and a dozen other games that can go from average to mediocre. The unchanged classics are more like a bonus feature and offer no reason to recommend this game. [May 2008]

The abilities that offers the player, like the invisibility, vision mode and the Predator weapons, are well implemented in the control scheme of the PSP. But the levels are somewhat empty and all the action is extremely repetitive and boring. [Jan 2008]

Despite not being a movie conversion, The Science of Evil suffers from the problems that usually affect this unlucky genre. It has a good co-op element, but the repetitive gameplay, the poor graphics, and a problematic camera are only a few examples from a journey to hell that not even the fans would like to take. The alternative found for the lack of the bong drum support fails for being so imprecise. And the sense of speed is always missing. It’s likely will keep accelerating without realizing your already at top speed. [March 2008]

If we add a repetitive level design, a problematic gameplay and some poor technical elements, the result is... the typical movie adaptation. And unfortunately, Iron Man stays painfully true to this rule. [June 2008]
